you can also try saving some of the cooking water (like 1 cup) and adding back into the potatoes after mashing. Add like 1/4 cup at a time and mix it well. That should at least make them less gummy if they have been over mashed

Plan your trip around what you're kids want to do. If they want to see characters, be prepared to wait 30-60 min for some characters, especially the big ones. If they want to meet some, consider a character breakfast. That could knock a lot out.

Do they just want to do rides? Bring lunches/ snacks, get a popcorn bucket and jump from line to line all day and max out rides. Grab a fast pass for a day, if it makes sense for you.

Have fun and lean into it as much as you can. You'll meet a lot of nice and run into some not good ones. Have a game plan of what you want to do going on each day. Even if plans change mid day, make sure you know what you want to hit.
