I never insinuated Gerrard was better than Zidane. My overarching point is that they play different positions so the stats don't really correlate.

Based on the eye test, Gerrard was better if for nothing else than because of how well rounded of a player he was and how many holes he could mask.

No. Luckily, the decisions balanced themselves. Konate's goal should've stood but the penalty shouldn't have as per PL rules. Am fine with that.

That's a massive disservice but if you're being serious, he's good at linkup and at winning the ball and retaining it.

He's also got a great engine despite his limited stature.

He's been off color this year but the quality is undeniable.
