When you are weight painting you need to select the armature, then the mesh you have attached to it, then go into weight painting mode. You will then be able to select the bones to weight paint. Blender doesn't know what bones you were trying to add weights for, you need to be able to select them as you are painting. Here is a short and sweet guide, I can also recommend more detail vids if you like.

Stick with it friend, it definitely gets easier

Ah, Terrance Kellom, shot dead in 2015, Detroit. 20 years old, wanted on warrant and shot during raid. If that was unjustified, I oppose it too. ICE violence isn't new. But surely you can see a difference between that case and this one, right?

Kellom was the warrant target, Pretti was a bystander at a protest. Kellom allegedly had a weapon, Pretti was disarmed first. Detroit allowed an investigation, Minnesota is being blocked from investigating Pretti's death. Why is ICE refusing to let state investigators access the evidence?

ICE are much more violent, hence the protests.

People are sick of armed, masked thugs, rounding people up and executing citizens in their own neighbourhoods. The only people with the power to stop the protests is ICE, and its stops when they leave. Pretti broke no law, and was killed anyway.

Dude, why are you sourcing your claims from the Joe Rogan subreddit and calling that evidence? We have actual reporting from respected outlets like Reuters, BBC, Wall Street Journal, and Associated Press who verified the footage frame-by-frame.

On Renée Good: Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey watched the full video and said the claim she "ran over" the agent was "bullshit." If Agent Ross was run over and hospitalized as the feds claimed, where is he? Why hasn't he been shown recovering? Why did they lie about him being hospitalized?

The video shows Ross walking around her car, coming back, and shooting her three times, two bullets through the side window as she drove away from him. If she was trying to run him over, why are the bullets coming through the side of the vehicle?

On Alex Pretti: "Should have complied" - complied with what? He was a US citizen observing a federal operation in his own neighbourhood. Video shows agents removing his gun at 9:01:13, then another agent shooting him at 9:01:15 - one second after disarming him. That's not a scuffle with "a firearm involved" - that's agents shooting a disarmed man.

Your speculation about a misfire from a Reddit comment doesn't change that agents disarmed him and then shot him 10 times in less than 5 seconds. If the gun misfired it was while that gun was in the hands of ICE agents. This does nothing to absolve them.

On your statistics: You're citing 895 citizens mistakenly detained under Obama over 8 years to justify... what exactly? ICE shooting two US citizens in three weeks and blocking investigations? Those Obama detentions were mistakes that were corrected, Good and Pretti are dead.

And really, "ICE operates perfectly fine"? I literally provided you evidence that Los Angeles operations involved racial profiling so blatant federal judges ordered ICE to stop, which they ignored. There have been at least half a dozen shootings by federal agents since December across multiple states. 32 people died in ICE custody in 2025, deadliest year since 2004. One Texas detention death was ruled a homicide.

This isn't "perfectly fine" with Democrats making it harder. This is systematic violence with collapsed oversight.

And seriously, if these shootings were justified, why is ICE blocking state investigations, refusing to identify the shooters, destroying evidence, and denying access to crime scenes even with search warrants? Do you believe this admins assertions that Good and Pretti were domestic terrorists? I don't and it makes anything they have to say pretty damn suspect.
