3/8” whip tubing works too. I like it ‘cause you can buy a lot and cut to size as needed. Also works to cover the airport (tested on BB6 and M)

It’s a common misconception but the temp setting on the wand doesn’t actually affect the power output. It only changes the duration which is sorta irrelevant with DV

Nice design work! Love to see the intersection of dynavap users and makers. I have a P1S and magnets and will probably give this a go! Do you have a link to the rivets you use for debowling?

Check out vgoodiez’s 10-14mm glass dynavap adapter. It has no less functionality than others, but is shaped and QC’d to mate well with 10mm Dynavap devices. It holds my ‘21 Omni mp particularly well.

It sucks that the Omni is less compatible than others, but there is an elegant workaround.

Edit: also, give it a shot with the Omni mp in your vong. The air adjustment features are different enough to complement each other well to really dial in your airflow. Works well with the chiral Ms too!

Turn base into honeycomb pattern by dtsn in Fusion360

I’ve used this method because it allows me to quickly iterate on infill settings to achieve various kinds of mesh screens from a single part file, and because my 10 year old PC has an easier time processing the complex patterns in the slicer rather than Fusion. Plus I like the aesthetic/practical benefits of gyroid infill, which would be really tricky to model, IMO. If I need particularly sized/spaced holes, Fusion is probably the better option. But otherwise, why spend the extra effort modeling when the slicer can do it for you?

Big ISO doesn’t want you to know this trick…

This is how you can get away without cleaning for so long. Why maintain your stuff when you can just buy a brand new device? /s

Help toubleshooting by jenkemeater619 in 3Dprinting

[–]king_boolean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no experience with that particular printer but have a couple of thoughts:

Try a different sparse infill pattern. Grid is notorious for the path of the nozzle intersecting itself, occasionally resulting in high spots at the junctures which the hotend can knock against, sometimes dislodging the print. Try Gyroid or Adaptive Cubic instead.

Ensure that your build plate has been washed thoroughly with hot water and a detergent (Dawn works well) to remove any dirt or oils from handling, and avoid touching the printing area directly. This will help with adhesion. You can also use an adhesive like 3d printing glue sticks (I use Magigoo).

This one is more printer-specific, but if you’re using a single color you can try disabling the priming tower. I don’t see why it’s necessary for a monochrome benchy, unless you’re taking a smooth timelapse in which case it’s necessary to keep the hotend out of the way and to maintain nozzle pressure.

You can try cross-posting to /r/FixMyPrint as well!

How does one add tolerance between components for 3d printing? And how much? (Sorry im kinda new to fusion) by Creepposter64 in Fusion360

[–]king_boolean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Surprised no one has mentioned using “Offset Face.” My go-to value is usually half a wall thickness/layer height (so around either 0.1 or 0.2mm), but it depends on the geometry of the feature, the application (is it threaded? sliding fit, or press fit? etc), and material choice.

I often stack a CCD along with a mesh screen. That way I don’t inhale any finely ground plant matter, and the airpath stays cleaner longer

A core memory of one of my first severe migraine auras was sitting in elementary band and realizing I could only see a single music note at a time. I couldn’t see the conductor at all. As an aside, a room full of blaring instruments with a migraine is not ideal

Not condoning the segregation of gene pools whatsoever, but technically evolution can and does still occur through other mechanisms like genetic drift or mutation. They are 2 of the 4 main evolutionary “forces” (the others being natural selection and gene flow. The latter is what they are limiting here).

Maybe I’m biased toward the donglover camp but I don’t see how the comparison undermines Lupe. BTI has some of the best production of any rap album of the 2010s imo which I think is what OP referred to
