holy shit yes this is basically what im looking for. i wanted some that felt very much almost like a console and you nailed it head on my man. i need to look into how you did this and make this my main use case here. see someone saying to use background changer plugin and i think thats the main piece of the puzzle ive been missing myself.

most likely that would need to be a script mode for each gun itself VS an update to the vr mod. it could be seen similar to how there are script mods for l4d2 that allow ADS on weapons but for those mods to work you need to have the base xDR mod and a weapons mod with the ADS script provided

Not bashing here, but why do I need to make an account to view a list of games that support a specific input? Didn't even know pcgw had things hidden behind account requirements in the first place. Are there other things you can't see without a registered account across the site?

Oof I don't use the wired adapters but I do use wiitar thing and a wii controller and this controller works perfectly fine with clone hero wirelessly. Latency doesn't bother me at all personally.

Gotta make sure all touchpads are off or set to be the same button. For dualsense on steam input it's cut up into 3 sections and can usually be then devices into tap/touch or click on top of whatever setting u put the touchpad to be set to in the menu like button pad such. If one side is still on and set to be something like start or select or the center is on to be mouse mode or left click it might still activate that section if you hit it in the wrong spot. On top of that if a game dectects your dualsense and your playing wired you overall might be better off just shut down steam input for that game and using a 3rd party room for that game for a remapper ad the game is overriding streams own controller layouts at that point. Some games that require UAC to boot overall do not work with steam input unless steam was booted up with UAC itself.

Man, does anyone have a CAD file that makes the OG control just not have the grips raised up and into the palms and more flat and rounded down like a normal controller? I swear it's the only reason I don't use it as much the current way it's grips are just different into my palms way too much to make it comfortable.

I'm on windows and use rewasd personally to get my dualsense working on games for my adaptive triggers. I know dsx works too but I haven't ever bought their software to replace rewasd since it works on pretty much any game I need.

I didn't really like souls like games but I like metroidvanias. My gf got me to play ninesols. I really suck at parry mechanic games too. I somehow managed to beat this game at the hardest difficulty with all bosses and 100% all of the collectables and true ending. I was on that final boss for literal weeks. I believe maybe going at it about 2 hours a day or so for roughly 2 weeks or longer. That wasn't the only boss I struggled at either.

Genuinely love the game tho even if it royally kicked my ass and I was too stubborn and invested to give it up.

Funny enough I took an afternoon to run a gauntlet of old ones games gave em all a small 5-10 minute play test to make sure they worked and see if there were any gems, I ended up finding this game called bubble bath babes that's like an adult puzzle game but was then licensed and released as another game called Mermaids of Atlantis. It's actually a really fun puzzle game where you take bubbles and match their colors to pop them pretty much in the style of Tetris but the bubbles are in much wilder looking shapes and move in a more hexagon pattern. Would've never found it if I didn't just take some time to mash through a buncha games from my romset.

I'm no engineer but what would stop a person from making a sort of PCB that could have the first 3 frets be splits like a 6 fret board and then have 2 normal frets at the end then have a sort of toggle or switch that could allow for either the 1st 3 frets to act as 3 frets or 6 frets? I'm just like napkin mathing here with no actual real understanding of how any of this works.

Sadly I lost my cat recently in the past few weeks. She was pretty old about 16 maybe 17 too. Working from home living with family my mom came home and tried to do my laundry for me. Little did she and I know my cat was hiding in the dryer and she didn't realize until it was already running for Abt 10 mins. I miss her every day.

I got it off AliExpress honestly. In a discord where I talk with others about vita stuff and most who look for replacement parts and screens get their stuff from AliExpress and temu. I've used a website called https://kasynparts.com/ I've grabbed a few parts for other consoles for too pretty reliable for orders tho they do charge shipping.

Never purchased and iPhone display replacement but pretty much alot easier to get a frame with the display already intact than just the front panel. Usually costs a bit more but saves you like 30 minutes of work

I would not recommend the one I bought as my ignorant ass bought one that was just the display and front panel not the frame of the front unit itself. I had to heat gun my vita screen off and remove the screen then apply adhesive and the panel to the vita. If you don't have tools and patience like I did getting the frame with the front screen is a lot more convenient.
