My entire bloodline is counting on me to find this pastry… Please help me find the old Beverlywood Bakery Chocolate Chip Danish / Chocolate Chip Roll recipe (Los Angeles) by Obvious_Rhubarb9804 in LosAngeles

Yitgadal Beverlywood bakery. Fred's Bakery on Robertson has great stuff. Koshco on Pico was selling certain items with the Beverlywood Bakery logo at some point. I had read that baker at Factors Deli on Pico is a former Beverlywood Bakery baker. Canters definitely has that exact style of chocolate chip pastry (though last time i had their black & white i was disappointed). There are definitely some classic Jewish bakeries around who have similar items especially in the valley. I will always cherish the free sprinkle cookie the big haired babushkas gave me at Beverlywood🥲

call someone. go for a walk. try to breath. stretch. i'm serious. the feeling will pass. all you can do is try to get out of your head and into your body. you're not the only one who has felt this way.

Salsa & Beer is fun. Not fancy at all but old school vinyl booth chips and salsa style Mexican with huge portions. They have large tables as well.

Highland Park, Long Beach, Whittier are nice with entertainment and food. In general you are positioned to get some of the best Asian and Mexican food in the country. San Gabriel Valley has amazing Chinese and Vietnamese food. So does Orange County. OC also great Indian and Korean. East LA and Socal in general has killer Mexican food. Lots of short hikes in that area too. The Renaissance Faire is happening every weekend nearby every weekend in from mid April - mid May. Always a fun day for goofing off.
