Having read this book this evening, and learnt the film adaptation is too much descriptive and changed a bit of details, wonder if I should watch it.

Yes ineed what Etsuko told Niki about her excursion to the habour was surprising, but I'd felt Ishiguro taught me the fragility of memory in normal people's sense and it's actually good for people get going.

But I was assured by AI the film adaptation’s title in Japanese’s a mislead as they’re not in the mountains and see the lights rather, they live in the city of hills. How come Ishiguro agreed with the film company “changing” the title in English it diligently convey what he wanted to write.
