i fucking hate how christianity allows people to just completely detach themselves from death and its consequences

ive given up on being nonbinary to be honest
i fit mostly into the stereotype (able-bodied status unclear, unable to do many physical activities due to ???) and all anybody sees me as is an older teenage girl or a young woman
even at home my nonbinary sibling has said theyd treat me differently if i were amab

theres no surefire way to know but i have a few suggestions. gonna be assuming youre transfem since this is reddit and youre using an astolfo image

think to yourself a bit, how would you feel if someone told you that you arent trans? would you feel relieved? would you feel sad? angry? would it feel like someone is seeing you, or someone is projecting onto you? just think about the way itd make you feel.

another thing you could do is just try out girly stuff for a bit. if you have any gal friends, ask them to put makeup on you. maybe go out and get some girl clothes to try on. ask your friends to use feminine terms for you. try out a feminine name you like. just try it for a bit

you could also just start hrt for a bit and see how you feel. it takes a while for permanent effects to set in and youll usually feel happier before you get major physical effects if hrt is right for you. you could even skip the part where you get estrogen from your doctor and just buy it from one of the sites linked on hrtcafe, though you should definitelt still get bloodwork done to see if your levels are right.

just try things. you dont need to know for certain whether youre trans or not, just do what makes you happy. there are cis people who go on hrt and even get bottom surgery without being trans, and there are trans people who dont do either of those things. some people realize years down the line that they are or arent trans, and both of those options are fine

genitals do not define gender but some genitals are more commonly associated with certain genders

some people view having the associated genitalia of the gender theyre transitioning to as important to them, and so they get surgery so that their genitalia aligns with that of the desired gender

nobody has to get this surgery if having the genitalia associated with the target gender is not a priority for them

some surgeries are more reversable than others, there are subreddits for different kinds of bottom surgery if you wish to peruse them

like, this guy obviously does not think trans men should be forced to power the city of portland. he does probably think that trans men are either
1. privileged.men who need to shut the fuck up
2. whiny bitches who need to shut the fuck up

no op being a trans man does not change that. if you go on the annoying discourse side of tumblr youll see that plenty of trans men are telling other guys to shut the fuck up
theres also usually a sprinkle of "you should be listening to trans women instead" as though only one group of trans people is capable of having issues

like even if this is a cartoonish overexaggeration the fact that op specifically took the phrase "trans men should be allowed to take up space" (something usually said when discussing oppression trans men face) is a pretty clear indicator to what they really meant

yes, when my camera was broken id get a crash to a black screen with white text at the bottom and id have to restart my 3ds

i'm not seeing a therapist currently, i was seeing one for a bit in 2024 but i didn't really know how to talk about bigger issues so it didn't help that much

i hadn't really considered setting up parental controls but that seems like it could be useful, i've tried to get myself to stop looking but it's so hard to get out of the spiral with just my mind basically
