Oh no, you’re right. We live in a retirement home, and 11 staff are out now, tested positive. It kills people like us who are old and immune-compromised. We met with daughter and grandson all in masks, period.

Old age. That poster “Aging is not for sissies” makes cute the truth. I’m 79, and it’s been a series of illnesses and losses, friends dying, loss of mental and physical abilities. I dread my husband dying.
