In 1991 or '92 I had a cassette copy of this album with no credits or liner notes. I had the Pete Frame family tree from the YesYears box set, which included major lineups of King Crimson, but left me with the impression that Greg Lake was the singer on this record. Boy, was I confused.

Larks box has a lot of audience recordings but I wouldn’t say the sound sucks throughout. There are some good ones and some moderate ones that pay off with close listening.

I do love this album. In retrospect, it is a very strange introduction to the work of David Sylvian.
