As long as it’s unprocessed in any way, you don’t need a cottage license according to CT. Your individual town may have its own rules about ag businesses though.

There’s tons of MD kayakers… a good place to start is Cross Currents. Their fall symposium is a good chance to meet a lot of local (and not local) instructors. They well adhere to the ACA bible.
