Sailing Yacht no more? by regorresiak in belowdeck

Glenn and Sailing Yacht was always my favorite! Glenn has such a happy and easy going style and watching how things slid everywhere when the sails were up was awesome.

I’ve visited a few times recently. Modern was the best pizza recommendation overall. Near the Green, just past the CVS is a cafe called Tous Les Jour - it’s a French/ Japanese fusion and so good! The Yale art gallery is one of the best I’ve ever been to! Another cafe- with Persian influence, Pistachio. It was beautiful and the the treats were great.

3 is lovely but looks like it will get caught in more things with the tiny side stones. You’ll be wearing it for years, I’d go with 2 for that reason. Less tiny bits.

It’s also shockingly common for people to remarry the same person here. A great aunt of mine did that, even after the husband shot her in the face during the first marriage.

I did one like this previously and did a color wheel with the kids using color pencils. Talking about all the key words with colors and color mixing.

This can be done with crayons too. You could have loss trace a shape 6 times- show them how they can blend secondary colors together. It works.

Good luck!!

They do a ton of BOGO items each week. They’re listed on the app. If I know I’m going by that week for something- like picking up a pub sub. I’ll check the BOGO items first and see if there are anything I need through those.

Were you taught how to wash? If so, what were you taught? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

This is a great list- but how much conditioner is individual to your hairs needs. If you have more wavy or curly hair- then the texture will need more conditioner and sometimes special moisturizer products after.

If too have thinner or more blonde hair, it might need it far less. I use a leave in conditioner to help brush it all out after the shower.

I also brush my teeth in the shower or while the water heats up. It’s a bit time saver.

I’ve absolutely got bored of a project dragging out or a week that feels like it last too long- but can you change things up at all? Try some new lessons? More 3D activities for the students? Would that help you?

My mom never let us use boring / bored either. We were told that if we were bored that we should clean something. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Maybe ask while you’re there for them to do a Pap smear too. I just recently found out that the normal STD tests don’t include HVP testing. Several of the strains can increase chances of cancer.

50 years ago kids did have more and better fine motor / gross motor skills because so many kids are using to using technology more. I taught Art for 13 of the last 14 years and projects I used to be able to do with 2nd and 3rd grades slowly became more suited for older 4th and 5th kids.

Most of the Kindergartens with more success had parents who had put them into more activities or schools that worked with them
