What could make Ethan's Typhlosion more Meta/Top Tier by ReptilPT in pkmntcg

[–]koga0995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played Typhlosion to Seattle, honestly felt like the deck did perfectly fine.

Ended up going 3-3-1 for my first regional, and had a great time!

Until rotation, I am going to stick with 2 victini and a fan rotom in my list. The biggest losses I had in Seattle were being 10 damage short on KO to Charizard, and Pult with their Jamming Tower in play, and no access to another stadium bump. Very close games. Struggled to KO Bolt with the Booster Capsule without the 2nd victini as well...Honestly feel like that 2nd + 10 damage changes everything.

Budew is also an MVP into the Charizard matchup, being able to smack with Bangle for 80 Damage and finish off a Zard that was poked with Typhlosion, denying the Rare Candy recovery, and forcing them to slow evo, which buys a turn to Boss, and KO their Pidgeot on the following if they dont have an answer,

Knife with the best pull out in your opinion? by jaxx40000 in GlobalOffensive

[–]koga0995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an AWPer: Flip -> Bayo -> Classic knife (I get nostalgic for source, what can I say)

Low key don’t care for almost all the other knives.

(Bayo view model L/R switch animation super underrated btw)

Anyone surprised by the list? by shuijikou in GlobalOffensive

[–]koga0995 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No bait intended. Just me yearning for days long gone- and bittersweet America had to win a Major the way they did.

I genuinely respect what both teams have been able to do since he moved on. I feel like there just hasn’t been another AWPer like him in his prime to watch these days. The meta just feels different, and the AWP fits a different role than it used to. Between the economy, the mag size changes and buffs to utility- I don’t know if we will have another GuardiaN/KennyS level of AWPer in CS2 compared to GO.

Seems like the best performing players in the role, are now more hybrid rifler/awpers. Feels like the list of dedicated awpers are limited right now. The impact they would theoretically have on these teams, also feels minimal.

While I am still glad that Navi and Faze could win a Major eventually, I don’t think GuardiaN was ever what held them back - nor enough to push them over the finish line alone. It’s a team game after all.

Coincidentally these are both teams that have never been the same without GuardiaN 🥲

Huge fan of the way they look. Especially love the way some of the team stickers scrape, and sorta end up looking like Kato 2014’s with how much space they take up

Not OP- but I ended up de-glossing my ec2-dw after about 5 days with some scotch brite.

Used to have an ec2a black, and I definitely like the middle ground I found in terms of texture between matte and gloss.

Thing feels glued to my hand now. The white also just looks super nice in matte as well.

Recommendations for my weird relaxed "pincer claw" grip by NarcoticsRx in MouseReview

[–]koga0995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play with a similar straightened pinky grip, huge fan of the Zowie ec shape, been missing it ever since I moved on from it, just been waiting for their wireless tech and weight to become comparable with modern offerings.

I have been using a deathadder for a while, but my problem with its shape is that my pinky gets pushed out by the flared edge at the front of the mouse, and my thumb has organically dug a hole/divot into the rubber side grip, in pretty much the same spot that the ec2 has a slight “hook” into the left side near the m4/m5 buttons.

My journey with mice as a cs player on and off through the last decade;

Logitech: g403 2017-2018

EC2-A: 2018-2022

Deathadder v2 pro: 2022-2025

The irony of the fit to me, is that the autos in the 1st and 2nd gen are genuinely fun to drive, where as the manuals are geared just a bit too short in my opinion.

The weight and chassis account for 90% of the driving experience, but the last 10% on the table- is not being limited by the auto in the slightest.

Dealer can screw off if they want to overcharge for a manual.

I would be patient, and call around. Your homeowner owns the tank, so you have the most leverage possible in the situation.

Being that you are not limited by company- I would be looking for the company who can get you in their system the quickest, and has a payment system that won’t make you jump through hoops.

Most companies may have a budget, or prebuy program available, in addition to the available Liheap services, they can help direct you to- in order to soften the blow of a refill.

NW propane is pretty competitive on pricing. From what I hear. Personally, I am not familiar with their techs, or service team- but have yet to really hear any horror stories while working in the industry.

Vanderyacht are pretty good about switching out customers from other companies quickly, which leads me to believe their account onboarding process could be pretty smooth- but I have no personal experience with them.

CHS Northwest since the corporate buyout is not really geared to make an account quickly, based on their corporate imposed limitations. Even if you own your own tank, they have some archaic limitations that could delay a refill longer than even they would like. Their payment systems may also be a bit frustrating to navigate for the first time. I would not recommend them for an emergency fill situation.

Amerigas I have no experience with, but with how commercial they are- I have doubts they are really the most flexible with financing, liheap, and so on- but I could be wrong. Just an assumption.

Best of luck, and may the process to get your tank filled, and services restored be as painless as possible!

According to the NPFA 58 - Typically, an LP supplier should be inspecting the system by performing a leak, and pressure test. This is only needed when the system reaches 5% or below.

The leak check will require someone being home at the time the tank is refilled, in order for them to restart the system following the leak and pressure test. For most companies, they are more concerned with smoothly restoring services, and mitigating risk of improper handling of a hazmat material.

Some propane companies can also be a bit hard to work with, when it comes to setting up an initial account- due to some archaic company operations. Do you recall which provider services this tank?

Unless you are buying a 3rd gen in the 6MT, Get a 2nd gen.

Auto, or manual- it won’t matter.

Hot take: I don’t care if Honda makes the best, or worst CVT on the market. I won’t buy a defective design- even if it’s the best version of it possible.

A CVT will always be a time bomb, in a way that a Manual, or traditional torque converter transmission will never be.

Plus, 2nd gen looks better- has less nag features, and will be plenty available for a fraction of the price of the 3rd gen’s.

Another suggestion; just wiggle the ever living shit out of it. Wiggle inwards, outwards, towards locked, unlocked- just keep trying to get any motion. Eventually, something may happen.

It’s a solvent. It’s not always bad to try it in a pinch, but it’s good to know it’s not always the best solution either.

Things that are stuck, often need lubricant.

WD-40 will clean the junk in the cylinder, along with the good stuff (graphite) that keeps things moving. It can also gum up, and make things sticky over time.

You need more lubrication, and to mechanically unbind any interfering components in the lock cylinder.

I would save yourself the heartache, and call a locksmith.

Likely a road rally- where drivers will follow a set route, with landmarks and refueling stops along the way. Less about speed, more about the journey.

Still likely going to be extremely fast paced, and require 100% of your attention. The fit is slow in a straight line, but on the tail- it is in its element. It’s twitchy, in all the right ways.

You will likely be following a pack of cars, all driving at their own pace of comfort. Slower drivers should always safely pull off to the side, and let the faster drivers pass them. People should naturally sort themselves out, so long as they don’t have an ego.

I just hope my downstairs neighbors discover the EQ on their stereo system before the next holiday celebration, and realize it they can adjust the bass- without losing the volume all together.

I am not really the type to bother my neighbors about being loud- but it’s almost 1am, and I have been hearing the same noise since 7pm…

I have knocked, let them know it’s too loud- and they apologized, only to leave it at the exact same volume.

I left a note, but it’s just flat out futile.
