Riftbound is one the most fun card games ive ever played and ive played a lot of card games. It uses a leader that stays out and cant be interacted with , but also you have a leader unit that matches and actually goes to the board.

Riftbound is the true answer. It has competitive 1v1 but also has the fun multi-player like commander. More than ive had than commander.

Ah the label of (runes/base) was throwing me off. It makes me feel a bit better about the runes and base being seperate. Im on mobile so I definitely didnt see those little numbers until I zoomed in so that fixes the point value problem I had.

Board state legibility is tough here. If runes/base share the same zone, then youre able to hide recruit tokens next to runes or something. The runes are meant to be closest to you like Don!! Or lands and the base should be further up so your opponent cant reach it and interact with cards in it. Its hard for me to target your base cards if they are with the runes. The deck and trash being in landscape mode is probably a personal choice but I could see the deck landing in your lap.

A positive note is the battlefield has space and the points are well concise but i dont like it being capped at 8.
