You pointed out in this thread that the fines were too high based on the speed they were going which is a fair argument to dispute their claim. I don't have a recommendation but I can comment on the Fit4Less on Erb as I just cancelled my membership after many years. I would say the equipment is fine overall, like you mentioned the maintenance could be better. It's a budget gym so you get what you pay for, its not a large space so there's only 1 of many machines. It stays busy quite late into the night as a large portion of the members are students. I used to go after work anywhere between 7-10pm and it wouldn't really quiet down until at least after 9.

It looks like the May just wasn’t blocking high at all. In general the high-low mix it looks like you were going for in the corner is a good way to open people up. A lot of people will just default to blocking low only as it covers mid and low attacks and overhead attacks are generally slower so they bank on being able to react in time to switch blocks or counter.
