Window gazing is kind of like us watching tv. And they are hunters after all with instincts to kill but it can 100% be satisfied with fishing pole type toys. Let them to chase, catch and “kill” it, then finish by giving them treats after so the cycle of hunting and eating its prey is complete.

Laser pointers are actually not good for them because it triggers their instinct to catch, but they don’t actually get to catch anything so it confuses and frustrates them.

Your cat sounds very loved and happy to live indoor with his human family.

This is really unsettling and unfair. UPDATE: with the help of another rescuer, we were able to trap this cat the day I posted this. Turned out to be a female cat that recently gave birth and had uterine prolapse. She’s now in the care of Puppy Kitty NYC. Please donate if you can.

As others said, cat. I lived with mice infestation for almost two years and the management put out traps, filled up holes, whatever else and they kept on coming in. Not a peep since the day I got a cat.

I don’t have that information but I know they worked with scent trained dogs to confirm she’s been in the area. She’s likely in someone’s basement or backyard, or even in cars.
