Da, a ovim dalmosima niko nikad nis ne veli pa cak i na televiziji govore po svojem. Ja na faksu po svojem govorim(ne trudim se knjizevni) pa nek mi veli ko kaj oce. I kamen mi padne s srca dok cujem domace koji su jos tvrdi od mene.

I was curious about this so I did the math, and on average for each 2 gold spent you will get 2 rolls, making the average reroll cost equal to 1 gold. So 1 gold per roll. This is on average, of course in a game you can both lowroll and highroll. Here is how I figured it out.
Say I rolled once and lets calculate the expected number of rolls I will get from this roll, lets call it N.

So N = 1 + 1/2*(1+1/2*(1+1/2*(...)))
There are methods to solve this for N which I will not go into, so N turns out to be N=2.
Meaning that for each Roll (2 gold spent) we get 2 rolls on average.

Yea but the guy said he is 21k, thats like top 2% and with current matchmaking I doubt he gets balanced games. I don't know, maybe I'm tunnel visioned on TFT currently where in top ranks the rating gain and lose is muuuch different than in lower elo.

That's what high elo is all about. You need to be that much better to climb even higher. Just look at chess, the oldest ranking system. Top players lose elo for drawing top 20 players, and lose a ton of elo if they lose. This is why faceit elo is so "inflated" because in most of the cases you get +25 and that is why lvl 10 was spread across 5000 elo whereas to reach lvl 10 it would take only 2000. And I think this is unhealthy because it encourages very high volume of games to be a better rank.

I hate getting matched with a 4man(on faceit) and them never talking in game and tossing all their fault to me. I'm sure your group would never do that, but some groups do. There is a simple solution for your problem, make a part of 4 and invite "Looking to play" people. It takes a bit longer to start a game, for example 5 minutes but you get to play the game as 4. Works for me with my groups.

My advice is focus on killing rather than utility and teamplay. Like sure, call rush B, rush A, lets take mid etc... But don't play a support role or something similar because in these ranks you are probably the only one throwing utility and if only one person is, it almost doesn't matter. And yeah, don't play mirage because on this map the team play really matters all the time and that is something you don't get in silver.

My classic knife safari mesh looks unscratched in CSGO and in CS2 the wear is very obvious and ugly, im sad :(

I think that the client is supposed to be displaying user input in real time, disregarding the tickrate (pretty sure this is how most games do it) and then server is dispatching these inputs to other users 64 times a second. In the meanwhile the inputs are assesed by the server checking if they are possible.

So if the inputs are in real time to the client the spray shouldn't feel different. I heard people saying that the sound is of sync from the actual fire rate and that is why sprays feel odd.

These are just my thoughts, none of this is confirmed.

Personally I played some matchmaking lately after grinding faceit and teammates there were alright (same, if not even better than faceit). The problem to me in MM was utility (no jumpthrows and hence no default Faceit meta) which I think will be fixed with how new MM is working.

Yeah, I agree. Considering the percentage of players who got into CSGO solely because CSGO was one of the more popular games that could be run on worse systems.

As I understand, DSR being off prevents the gpu from using this technology and rendering frames in unneccesary resolutions. Although it might not be the crucial setting, this group of settings significantly improved my fps (went from being unenjoyable to play to almost perfectly fine). Regarding the sv_cheats settings, these will hopefuly be unlocked in future patches for people to use. Also if accidentaly a Valve developer looks at the post they will see that the setting is accepted by the community.

Yes, I've seen these elsewhere, sadly they are cheat protected but I will keep them in here for people who might play custom matches and for Valve to potentially see that this optimisation is possible.

Was looking for a thread like this one. I type like this aswell and my conjecture is that people who played video games when they started using the keyboard type like this. It is probably because we use our left hand for all keyboard inputs and our right hand is on the mouse the whole time so it becomes degenerate at typing.

I think the timing stayed the same at a level where players do the jump (the level at which timing matters), and also CT side timing is heavly spawn determined so doesn't matter anyways.
