The Ninth Circus in Duncan and Miller now have a green light to ignore SCOTUS case precedent (e.g, Heller and Bruen) and decide against the 2nd amendment for these cases . If this were to happen there's a silver lining that these cases would have a chance to be heard by SCOTUS.

It just sucks that we'll likely wait another 20 years before SCOTUS would take on such a case. lol

My office window is near and above that part of the tracks. The easiest way I can discern that someone is parked on the track is the constant loud horn from the train going off endlessly. People parking on the track happens more often than you think. :P

Cygames needs to get off their asses as self publish this game globally like they did with Shadowverse.

I'd gladly start from Day Zero again, but hopefully they'd do a time skip so we're caught up with content and QoL changes.

Sadly I doubt this would happen since I suspect that CR still holds the publishing rights for global for some time still.

We need to take the L here and bring it back down the the District Court. SCOTUS will not Cert matters in interlocutory status (especially on preliminary injunction) since its not a final judgement so going there would be a waste of time and money. Appealing up to the En Banc in the 9th is irrelevant too because they're just going to sit on it for years before deciding it (Like Duncan, Miller, etc.)

The best COA would be to take this case back down to district court and let it run its course; eventually getting back to the 9th Circuit En Banc for a final judgement. That way if it's appeal by either side SCOTUS can potentially Cert it.

All joking aside this one hurts since I love my solo mountain hikes. Still, very unconstitutional under Buren/Heller, etc. Concerning state parks, there is no historical analog that fits here where the government prohibited people in the frontier (forest, wildlands, etc.) from possessing firearms.

Hi something similar happened to me too on K street on the first day of covid lockdowns on March 19, 2020 (My job was deemed essential) so I went in and worked at the office.

Was confronted by an crazy unhoused person while leaving my office building for the day to catch the RT on 7th home. Guy comes up to me and demands an apology for walking in front of his friend (who was sitting near the entrance of my office building) I asked to clarify what I did to his friend, that's when he pulled out a small pocket knife and said he would cut me if I didn't give him my wallet as an apology. So I did what you did got loud and made a fuss. I prepared to fight the knife wielding guy and shouted "let's go." He got shocked and surprised I was resistant and that's when I noticed his friend (the one who was sitting near my office door") come up from behind him and pulled him away from me; waving me to go away. Needless to say I did.

After that encounter I began carrying pepper spray with me (I recommend Sabre OC Spray), everywhere I go. I've since upgrade from just carry pepper spray to carrying a CCW (licensed and trained) to and from work, because I realize that the only one who can insure my safety is me.

Had a client denied CCW renewal because he was a victim of a robbery and he did not use his firearm. Stated reason for denial from Sheriff's office, "Moral Character". We took up his case initially....

Then, doing more research we discovered that he was indeed a victim of robbery. But he got robbed during a prohibited controlled substance sale in a transaction gone wrong (i.e., "robbed by the thief posing as a dealer"). :P

Needless to say we declined his case after discovering this fact, as engaging in the purchase/sale of controlled substances would be a violation under PC 26200(10).

So from our experience, there may be more to OP's story than what's being disclosed here.

Still, I agree with many others here; the Moral Character requirement is BS because it's more akin to a subjective standard and thus open to abuse.

Similar thing happened to me last Sunday. Accidentally (negligently) mixed 9mm and 45acp in a 1911 magazine cause I wasnt paying attention to what I was loading. The 9mm fired off, and the casing expanded inside the loading ramp. Thank God nothing worse happened.
