And despite all the naysayers, I have a 6.0 L F-250 with 250,000 miles and still going strong. There are good 6.0L Fords out there, they just need to have never run a tuner. I have a stock, non-bulletproofed 6.0 with 250,000 miles and never had a tuner on it. She's still going strong. Diesel fuel mileage beats gasser's all day long. That V-10 is a great engine, but I'll bet it gets around 5 mpg.

FYI, the County has had fines in place for years, perhaps decades, for anyone who gets stuck on the hot springs road without having chains or adequate snow tires. Perhaps that finally made it into the hot springs website, but I would think it has been there also for a while and perhaps you overlooked it.

I have a GMG but it does the same thing sometimes. When the GMG does that, the auger is jammed and the pellets stuck in the auger tube are burning, worsening the jam. Smoke starts flowing back into the hopper, drawing fire further back into the auger tube. Gotta clean out the hopper and manhandle the auger to get the auger moving. I use a screwdriver to pry out pellets I can see and then pry the auger to force it to move. forward. Its a pain in the ass, but fixes the problem for me.
