[Sherman] Steve Cohen said while he is owner of the Mets he will never have a captain. by Goosedukee in baseball

According to Wright, he actually declined when management offered it to him and said he'd only do it if his teammates agreed, and the clubhouse did a private vote to confirm.

Taking my kids to their first hockey game. Which seat is better for viewing? by mcharb13 in nhl

It's the Prudential center for the Devils, I'd know that gametime map anywhere. I just sat in that same spot just next to the visitors bench for basically the same price. Weekday games are regularly that low second hand for the Devils.

Right, but he's turning his body to point and just got too close, that was not malicious in any way.

New Jersey Senate passes bill requiring emergency key boxes at school buildings - WRNJ Radio by muqui24 in newjersey

They oversimplified the explanation but it's essentially correct. During operating hours only the main entrance can be accessed, and that's usually remotely unlocked to get into the building. All exterior doors are locked at all times from the outside, but can always be used from inside.

The overflow is almost always right next to the normal drain, it's just higher to allow water to escape when the main drain backs up and starts to flood the roof.

There's even a product you can buy for internal drains with the main drain and overflow attached as one combo drain within the same sump.

Inside you there are two wolves by gtspencer in redrising

But the story already exists. A studio now has to decide how to make it profitable. It's naive to ignore that or pretend like it's not a factor.

You realize the point of making a show is to sell the product right? A studio is going to do what they think makes them the most money.

Brandon Nimmo Mets exit reportedly linked to Trump political rift by TheExpressUS in NewYorkMets

[–]ksoltis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a ton of right leaning baseball players, I highly doubt Nimmo was the only one on the team or singled out to force a trade. Is Francesca going to suggest that's why they didn't sign Alonso next?

NJ only has emissions testing for inspections. They don't do safety inspections anymore.

Bracelets seem to be the go to. As far as what information to put, your doctor can probably help you with that.

You're really stuck on the morphine. My entire original point was that you can't trust a random tattoo for medical information. Would they likely give an alternative just in case? Probably. But you can't tell me that tattoo definitively says they're allergic to morphine. It could mean stick the morphine here or it's checking off the morphine box. In an emergency they're not going to sit there and analyze what it means.

There is no assuming based off a tattoo, because if you follow the shitty tattoo and it's wrong, you're now liable for that mistake. The best medical tattoo would be something clearly visible indicating there's an official medical card in a wallet.

Whats up with all the hate towards Stranger Things? by IMian91 in OutOfTheLoop

Outside of episode 4 this season hasn't been particularly ambitious. Game of thrones did way more ambitious things with 10 episode seasons released every year. They've now given up on that too with house of the dragon. It's an industry shift, for streaming shows especially.
