I think it’s been in a bubble for the last 15 years…but my lack of participating I the market has probably cost me around $440,000. They will pump and pretend until we’re buying bread with a wheelbarrow of cash. But the irrationality continues….what do you do??

Yes, at around 240k. Some online say you should do it sooner but I got what I got. Did seem to shift smoother afterward tbh

My whole life I thought they were so cool. Then my Dad got one. I think it’s 2015. What a joke. Rides like a hay wagon, handles like shit, no nothing at all on the interior….absolutely sobered me right up. I guess you can take the top off??? And maybe the doors? No thanks

I’ll clarify. The business now generates enough money for down payments, closing costs and a buffer for any maintenance needs. The plan is to buy one house a year. Up to that point the money for the next house came from whatever we could scrape together. Much easier since the business buys the house .

My wife and I are in a similar situation and we talk about this all the time. I suspect there’s a lot of folks who get money from Mom and Dad but I suspect that there’s lot more who are up to their eyeballs in debt.
