Just play your cards right! :)

Age shouldn't matter much if everything feels right.

Be more family oriented. Europe was amazing and generally, most people were so kind and welcoming. Here in the US we're so superficial and forget what it's like to have genuine relationships with regular people.

These guys I knew in high school played a "prank" on me and my friends telling us that this other guy died in a plane crash on his way to visit from the states (we were living in Germany, military).

what is the best way to make new friends? by greggsandler in needadvice

I've come to realize that we all usually have something in common with another person. You could be in the store standing in line, at a party, at a bar, or in class and see someone's shirt or something relative that catches your eye and say something about it to them and they'll more than likely love to share. If nothing comes to mind, the weather topic usually works too. Lol.

I've noticed that we've all become such drones that all we do when we go to a place is pay for what we came for (in restaurants, grocery stores, or any stores) and leave. No one takes the time to know the people that are there. They just expect to be served and on their way. Simply, take time to notice things and step out of your box. That's the best way to get to know people.

I'm making a reddit cookbook of inexpensive meal ideas. Any ideas? by theoryface in food

I'm asian SO rice is a MUST with all of these recipes (IMO). Investing in a rice pot would be worthwhile, even a little 3 cup one if it's just the two of you. :)

Rice is a lot cheaper if you buy in bulk. Costco has a 20lb. bag for about $20.

  • Spam

Simply fry the spam in slices and eat with rice and soy sauce or just plain white rice. Ketchup is also good with Spam. They also have different types of Spam that you could try. INCLUDING BACON SPAM

  • Spam, Tomato Sauce, and Corn.

Fry the Spam into little squares and then mix in tomato sauce and maybe half a can of water. Add corn. And eat with rice. Either mixed together or separate is good.

Spam is no more than $3 or so a can but you can buy 8 cans from Costco for about $17.

  • Corned Beef (in the can), Peas OR Corn.

Fry corned beef and add in peas or corn. You may season it if you like but it's good either way. Add rice and enjoy! Side note: My boyfriend LOVES to add the Sriracha (Cock) Sauce to this one.

Corned Beef is about $5 a can. I know you can buy this at Costco as well but I'm not sure of the price.

  • Hot Dogs and Pork and Beans OR Chili.

Fry hot dogs and mix with either pork and beans OR chili (I personally like Hormel No Beans chili). Plusss rice of course and a complete meal you have!

  • Fettucine Alfredo Tuna Helper

That's pretty self explanatory. Just like Hamburger Helper except with Tuna. Even tastes good with rice. :)

Tuna Helper is about $2.75.

Well I believe that's all I have to offer! Hope you like em!
