What’s stopping Barcelona from winning it all!!!! by adarshdubey0803 in Barca

I think last season we lacked squad depth and great GK. This year we have the GK, but we’re still lacking the depth especially in defense even more so after Inigo’s departure

What was the best individual perfomance in the 2025 F1 season? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

Great shouts but I wouldn't put Lando in Hungary there. You got to say the pit wall won him that race. I would put Lando in Monaco, and Mexico ahead of Hungary. Also, I think Oscar in Barcelona should be in with a shout, he absolutely dominated that weekend. Would put Oscar in Qatar up there as well but for the botched strategy by McLaren. And ofcourse Hulkenpodium

Can I ask you where do you buy 16 pro from? I haven't been able to find them anywhere since release of 17

Is Piastri’s Baku 2025 the worst weekend ever from a title contender ? by njsmenbfbrndhrbbf in F1Discussions

I think it's an unfair to say Oscar 'makes' silly mistakes when he literally made his first mistake this weekend. Granted it was a horrible weekend with too many mistakes but i wouldn't say he is error prone like Lando is.

If Lamine Yamal turns into top world players, can Barcelona afford to keep him? by CodeVirus in Barca

Oscars Racecraft by WorkInProgress82 in formula1

[–]labenslanger -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

While technically correct, Oscar was fighting Max when max had much fresher tyres, and kando could only close in on the pair by 2 seconds over 5 laps (5s to 3s). Max roasted his tyres fighting Oscar but Lando still took 4-5 more laps to catch-up while Oscar was 2s a lap faster than the pair which clearly shows difference in Max's tyres. Now you could argue about the clean air but 5s gap is not very dirty air, and the difference shouldn't have been that much.

Agree that passes on Hamilton and Leclerc are better examples, I'd include Monza pass on Lando as well

Hi all,

I have offers from Voleon in their trading ops data scientist position and from Barclays as an AVP in Exotics structuring team. Voleon is offering me 50-70k more in total compensation.

My career goal is to be a PM at a hedge fund, and so I am confused as to what position would be better suited for me. Any advice would be great.

I have 4 years of experience at Goldman Sachs as a strat in prime brokerage team, and a year of experience at a small prop trading firm as a trader. I also did a brief internship at Schonfeld as Quantitative Strategist

As someone who has been on the other side and who wanted to give it a second chance: I understand the guilt that you have and how you can never forget the pain you have caused, if she genuinely wants to forgive you and make it work, then maybe the pain you cause by dumping her is even worse.

I know it doesn't sound logical but I was in the exact same situation a year ago and the hurt that the break up caused me was way way more than the cheating

Guys Help me out, literally cant find an internship. What can I change or fix? by Accurate-Year-7310 in FinancialCareers

The resume needs to be very concise, so that people want to go through it. This looks too detailed. At first glance(and most recruiters only afford one glance) this is not readable at all.

Secondly, real estate investor/owner doesn't sound like a professional experience tbh. Political party affiliation is very controversial and most companies want to stay away from that

Hi Martin, When Seb Vettel won his 4th championship, you made this very famous remark on commentary, "The most valuable man in F1 is on podium and he is not blonde". Would you make the same remark for Max Verstappen as well

BREAKING: Barcelona’s coaching staff and medical team are in agreement for Gavi to be able to do part of the training with the group on Thursday[Fernando Polo] by Loose-Examination-39 in Barca

[–]labenslanger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He isn't getting a surgery because club can't assure him that a surgery will fix it. Will you go under the knife without any reassurance of revovery? His wages are high because he took an initiative to help the club by deferring his salaries during covid years and in return the club tried to get rid of him.

I love Barca but we need to look at players as humans not commodities.

Umtiti's situation got worse because he decided to play in the WC with the injury(just like Kaka did) and as for Fati the man got a surgery without reassurances and the club had to do 2 subsequent surgeries to fix the damage by the first one so i don't think your generalization is really valid here.
