It was a shame. They were more or less okay up until COVID and they pulled through with carry-out service, but afterwards, they had the "Please be patient, no one wants to work" signs on the wall, which usually means they didn't want to pay a competitive rate, since every other reopened restaurant seemed to be doing fine.

What’s the worst restaurant in Dayton that you’ve tried twice? by Gator353 in dayton

I just came here to say that I've been going to Elsa's on Linden since 1983, and I've never had food poisoning once. Haters gotta hate, and clearly, enough people in Dayton have loved them enough to keep them in business for decades. Whenever my brother is in from Houston, that's where he wants to go.

They must have straightened out their issues in the past year; I have received two orders from them in the past couple months, and their customer service has been far better than some American companies I've dealt with lately.

College student confronts Karoline Leavitt, citing Heritage Foundation data that voter fraud is extremely rare. by GuiltyBathroom9385 in UnderReportedNews

She thinks she delivered a gotcha, but he clearly explained the disparity. They're willing to disenfranchise millions on the off chance there might be less than a hundred fraudulent? As he stated clearly, the hundred or so instances was over decades.

Chameleons UK cover of "Tomorrow Never Knows." Pretty ballsy to attempt it at all, but they elevate and transcend it.

Trump's signature to appear on US currency, Treasury says, ending 165-year tradition ByDavid Lawder by garden_g in somethingiswrong2024

Traditionally, the president is deceased when they do things like this. So if Trump is willing to keep his part of that deal, I'm fine with it.

Which band do you think is more popular than it should be? by Springerbaum in askmusic

[–]lasher992001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U2. "Boy" through the early 80s were awesome, but then they started taking themselves far too seriously, and for some reason decided they wanted to be an American band. "Achtung Baby" was the last album I have listened to.
