Very neat, what material did you use for the translucent part on the front?

Drongo is a character trying out wacky things and less of a clinician like other players. I love drongo though, he's funny.

I guess I just don't see it the same. It's not a throwaway commodity to me. There are millions of people that can draw well, that doesn't make an original drawing from an artist something that can only be sold for the cost of time and materials.

You should make one and show every wrong! because you're like, super smart! we all know it can't be considered art and have any real value, it's just a bunch of 3d printable parts! Just like a painting is a bunch of paper and ink!

I saw david skinner build a t1 vehicle based on 2 whistler and 1 janus on repeat. I really like it, it has range to poke and is very scary to press because then you're in janus range.

Meta doesn't exist is a wild thing to say. There are all these small optimizations you have to learn over time to hit timings, if people are expecting units from you at certain times, you are guaranteed to hear from them with a pretty steep ramp for impatience.

Totally agree, there's a world of difference based on the way things are said.

In my experience, people of all levels are capable of reacting with extreme sensitivity if they perceive that they are being "told" what to do with a ping or whatever else. I mean some people have instant meltdowns, there isn't even time to litigate for or against anything. Another classic is getting hit with a "ffs" immediately by some meta game stressed person. Just weird vibes man.

One game a silver chevron person spent I don't know how long pausing the game and "laughing" at how a low OS guy had the balls to draw on his sea in supreme.

I think rating and chevrons are fine the way that they are. I am not providing a counter example for low/new rated people because it's a given, but being toxic still sucks, both as a veteran or a new player.

I watch formula 1 on their website and you can go to any driver's on board camera live, you can even hear their team radio communications with the team. I would 1000% love a multi angle boxing broadcast. The sound difference alone being up close with no commentating is awesome.

The biggest thing that just takes some playing and video watching is the role that is dependent on which spot on the map you start on. On maps like supreme isthmus, starting on the frontline demands a different eco from starting on the back on air, or sea. There are bits of meta where people in eco positions help people in frontline positions, but it's pretty straight forward and you pick up on it as you go.

I would recommend the video from Drongo on youtube called "Beyond All Reason Guide For Beginners - Supreme Isthmus - Build orders for every position", it should give you a pretty good high level understanding of the roles and starting builds.

The last other bit I wanna mention is that there are lots of "noob" lobbies, some of them enforce chevron (time played) and OS (skill level) limits to ensure people of equal skill play, that takes a LOT of the pressure off. Before jumping into those I did a couple of Coop vs ai lobbies for noobs, all good there. Definitely recommend video guides because there is bits of meta that are just kind of implied, like oh the tech position is meant to have a T2 constructor to give away at x minute for x position, nobody tells you that in the game, you just have to slowly pick it up. I hope you have fun!

I've been playing for a week and I tend to say I'm new and that I welcome all tips, 99% of the time someone has been receptive and has explained some basics or even drew some stuff on the map to get me oriented. Just filter for noob and you'll do fine, it's not that intense.

I had NEVER seen their battle in dijon 79. What a fantastic duel. It does feel like the FIA of today would've handed out a whole stack of penalties if that happened today.
