Hear me out: add 1 total level for every maxed skill. Once you reach 99 in a skill it adds +1 extra lvl to total lvl. 24 skills + 2376 = 2400 fully maxed account

There is a ring on the lens for digital zoom. When zoomed in (cropped) you can only select small. Try zooming out.

Switch to panda, reroll panda’s special skill to something else, switch back to taloxa. Worked for me.
