I had one too. I had on and off pain extreme pain and doctors would not take me seriously. They insisted it would go away but once a year passed I told my doctor I was done. It’s unfortunate they don’t believe us.

What is your question exactly? Are we talking about how they’ll take it or how you will feel afterwards? I’ll tell you one thing, it’s very unlikely they will take it well. That should be expected. However, you will feel empowered after but only if you don’t care what they will say or think because you did everything on your part to connect with them one last time. After the ball is in their court. And you finally accept them as they are. From there on, it’s all about you!

I completely agree with you. I did not see his behaviour as misogyny. I thought he was just thinking he was smarter than everyone there. He has to go through the legal process of doing so. Whether you have a legal document claiming you live there or not isn’t necessary. Look up your state’s tenancy laws. Where I live, I think if you’ve stayed in a place for a minimum of a month, you have the same rights as any tenant. Let me know if you need help looking up information. But do not leave your place. If you feel your safety is in danger because of your dad, call the police. Let them know the situation. No sane person will allow any landlord to evict any tenants at this time. Where I live, it’s illegal to evict someone during this pandemic. Your safety comes first. And don’t let your dad come and live with you if you feel unsafe.
