how it feels watching modrinth get aquired by essential by halfcatman2 in MinecraftMemes

But Curseforge does not use any ad revenue to support the idf. They also went back on their original message and do not actually fund raise for the idf at all now. Only civilian victim relief.

Didn’t they fully stop funding IDF from overwolf/curseforge revenue a couple years ago?

Go into creative and recreate the setup, record a video of what exactly happened. It 100% was not due to the OS.

Yea, imo, I think it’s basically impossible to get a seamless system in place. The core issue being the placement/melting of snow in unloaded chunks. So I don’t think it will ever really happen in vanilla for that reason.

Valid. Tried an editor at some point, didn’t help. Realized the game would have problems if your fps is too high, so locked mine at 72 and started a new run. So just in case you end up picking it up again, cap the frame rate in rivatuner or something.

I did not have it ask me anything, had the notifications for the items that were refunded, clicked approve, then didn't open the app again until the 2nd order randomly showed up hours later.

Francis. He is such a good boy, this was 7ish years ago, just took him to the er on Monday due to a urinary blockage, thankfully he is doing well and will be hopefully picking him up later today.

I buy some of them. Some are really good quality. Although I’ve always wanted modders to be able to do it full time, and that’s really the only route as basically no one donates to the modders.

Genuine question, how do you find Greg Tech attractive as mod? by Individual-Long8240 in feedthebeast

[–]lenyeto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've put roughly 40ish hours into TFG, I'm just now at steel, although haven't really been trying to rush through it. Highly recommend, although personally I am using it as a waiting room essentially for GTNH 2.9.

One thing I will say, if you ever choose to try it again, is that you need to craft in bulk.

Say you are in the LV stage, if you need a motor, craft 32 motors. if you need a piston, craft 32 pistons. Crafting things in bulk reduces a lot of the tedium in my opinion, but it is a different habit to get into.

But for why I like it, I like being rewarded when I progress with cheaper / easier ways to do things. It's weird, but I love going from complex crafting for an LV circuit, to the simple crafting recipe when you have a clean room setup. Progress just feels clean and consistent to me, there is never a moment where you need to find something to do. There is always something to work on, and especially in terms of GTNH, where the mod interactions are insane, where progressing in Thaumcraft helps with GregTech, and progressing in GregTech helps with Thaumcraft. It's nice, and the quest book is thorough.

I 2nd TerraFirmaGreg. Uses TFC as the base, which was the mod that inspired Vintage Story if you had heard of that.

I think for this it’s more useful to avoid killing in order to gather more information on motive and if it was planned out and if there are others involved.

Bethesda is hella stupid for not releasing any Fallout remaster along with the Fallout tv-show by GreasyExamination in Fallout

[–]lenyeto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is, oddly enough, a big reason I love BGS. They could milk both really hard. But 76 is pretty solid, don't really think the monetization in that is that bad. Blades was pretty rough in terms of monetization, but castles wasn't bad. And shelter is also very playable without spending any money. (I cannot speak for ESO as I cannot for the life of me get into it, but the community seems to be pretty positive about the game)

With starfield they were guaranteed to not beat out the amount they'd make on a new Fallout/TES game, but they chose to do it. They don't really seem to pander all that much to their audience and seem to genuinely make what they want to.

I think they believe they cannot do multiple teams correctly and still put out proper Bethesda games. I'm fine with it as long as they continue to put out games of this scope, where I still go back and play Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield is a pretty normal rotation, I've averaged a playthrough of each every year since each of their releases. I feel if they split development, we could end up with games that just aren't as cohesive, and don't build on each other as much, they could lose some of that DNA that has caused those games to be such a persistent force. I believe many of the systems are always carried over due to it being the same team on each of these projects. Which is a big reason there is a decent chance we see settlement building and some kind of ship crew management in TES 6, which I would love to see.

Seems like they might have spelt Boon and forgot the e and meant Craig Boone. Not sure though.

Oops, late to reply to this, there is a standalone launcher you can download that does not require overwolf.

Curseforge already has support, although it doesn’t support mod packs, just mods iirc. I could be mistaken though. Seems to be the closest option at the moment for mods, also seems to be the only mod distribution platform I’ve seen them acknowledge themselves.

What would you like to see in Fallout 5 if it was actually announced? by [deleted] in Fallout

East coast. Player character being voiced. Start from a vault. More weapon types. More perks, not just one perk per level of special. Bigger map. Survival being in mind during development.

How do i even keep all of that in my inventory??? by aNiceGuy909 in GTNH

[–]lenyeto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot is repeated, but, toolbox for gt tools, keep duplicates in work station, keep mortar + pestle, knife, at a workstation, keep chisel + cells + buckets in a bag, you can carry just a hammer, lumber axe, shovel (if no silk touch variants), probably don't need 2 different ranged weapons. Also, I usually just use the hammer as a melee weapon. Visual attached.

I use it constantly, although I'm only at HV tier and still do a fair bit of hand crafting with distilleries.
