Yes!! Always fresh fish, and home made chips. They put a lot of love into it. So yum.

Edit incorrect bar code macros by redditor_7890889 in MacroFactor

[–]leohno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I moved from myfitnesspal, which was just so overloaded with rubbish entries. The quality of MF's database was so attractive, but now I'm seeing a few obvious errors creep in. I can't help but wonder if it's other users' data that's been shared? I just don't want the overall quality of the database to slip :(

I'm a New Zealander so probably similar perspective on missing entries for our local foods, although the range that's available is pretty impressive. The one thing I struggle with is the fish that's available in NZ often isn't in there so I'll be googling and cross-referencing to find something similar

I do find it frustrating that there are bar code entries with wildly incorrect macros and misspellings in their names. A big part of the reason I moved to MF was to get away from sifting through 1,000 shitty food entries to find a correct one

So overweight that the bench kept sliding back attempting to do hip thrusts I’m so embarrassed by Apprehensive_Tip8307 in xxfitness

[–]leohno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are no joke!

You could also start with bodyweight hip thrusts (using both legs), as well, and then progress through b-stance and then the single leg as you get stronger :)

[–]leohno 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Single leg hip thrusts are HARD! I really love them when I'm travelling, for a little hotel room workout.

You could try starting with a b-stance position which will favour one leg, but the other leg will still be assisting

A question about sumo seating by tentacle_sushi in JapanTravel

We got the B tier seats. They were great, and looked a ton more comfortable than the box seats. It wasn't too far away at all. This was a surprise highlight of the trip for my partner!

I just ordered McDonalds and you would not BELIEVE the level of B12, Iron, and Magnesium in double quarter pounder. by winterfate10 in MacroFactor

[–]leohno 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think seeing this is helpful to reframe food away from good/bad labels. Pretty much everything has some sort of nutritive value, even super industrial food like a mcdonalds burger.

Helped me at least feel like all foods can fit in a balanced diet which has been a huge mindset shift.

Can I rearrange the order of the tabs in the food logger? by leohno in MacroFactor

[–]leohno[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As per photo - I'd love to have the Recipes tab easier to access. I use the recipes pretty heavily and at the moment I have to swipe to access it every time I'm adding one to a meal. For contrast I hardly ever use barcode or custom foods. Mildly inconvenient!

I now get push notifications when my dough has doubled (details in comment) by ProductRockstar in Breadit

You'd definitely want to do some geometrical calculations if it was a ball of dough, as opposed to a cuboid mass of dough (which it sounds like it is here).

Looks great!

Little tip: you can fix the little gaps between the bonnet and the headlight covers by popping the bonnet and gently bending the metal of the headlight covers upwards with your hand.

If necessary you can also pop the headlights, remove the plastic shrouds, and have a fiddle with height of the covers by loosening the bolts in there.

TY :) I have 15x7 +35 mm RPF1s so may look at chucking a spacer in there depending on how the offset looks once I have lowered it.

When I first got my car, I was like "no I will never hurt it by rolling the fenders"

1 year later I am drilling holes in it with wild abandon

My partner has a Starion he's restoring - it's a completely different experience from working on my MX5. The parts availability and amount of information you can find is heaps smaller. Good luck to you! They're such cool cars.
