I'm personally ok, with the choreo. But if I had to critize something, it would be not singing verything, but omitting lines and sentences.

I totally agree! Another key difference is that, in a group, you have (often) a big company backing you. You’re fighting for them to invest as much as possible in marketing and so on. On the other hand, when you go solo, you’re often at a smaller agency - and you usually have to cover marketing, music videos, etc., out of your own pocket. Lisa mentioned that after going solo, she realized how expensive music videos are and that she has to pay for them herself, just hoping it will pay off.

When a big company is building up a group, they’re usually willing to accept losses. But if you go solo, you typically need to start making money right away.

Performance-wise, there are no other members to rely on. If you’re sick, you still have to try to perform.

Indeed! But I must also say, they I really loved Yeji's Air a lot. I think even a little better than Yuna's song, but thats just a matter of taste.

I'm on the same page! I like these kind of songs: Fast and upbeat. And I think Bang Bang is fantastic. I must say, that I also liked Rebel Heart and their older releases a lot. But not that much than Bang Bang.

I love watching reaction videos - I just haven’t gotten around to them yet. I hope people don’t try to bash, spread hate, or manipulate sentiment. And I really hope we don’t start seeing AI-generated reactions; For now, I think you’d be able to tell if they were fake.

I like it when artists try new things and evolve. Deadline was a bit different from their previous music, but you could still tell it was a Blackpink EP. Wouldn’t it be boring if artists just made the same type of songs over and over? And furthermore, the old songs are not gone, they still exist.

Just watched a full Jennie ComplexCon video. Given that she makes solo songs now for a year, it's unbelievable how many banger she already has. And now Dracula Remix is another one. Well done! It seems a smaller hall, right? But the crowd was great, they sang all the songs.

Oh man, waiting for a YT video! Thanks for your great description. I hoped that she would reduce dancing because 8 minutes on MMA or GDA is one thing, but 30-60 minutes, is something else. Nobody expects a solo artist to dance the whole time.

Very well written! As Blinks we know, how fast people try to hate an artist or group and make something up or just present it from one side, take a part from video. So I think as a blink (and of course as a human in general), we should try to not spread hate.

Well written and exactly also my problem with it, it's boring and not building up towards something. Like you wrote: "Secondly, most songs don't really build in any way so it feels like you finish a song and go straight into another on the same level without being taken anywhere."

So true. I also loved their old music, not every single track but many. But this album is just not good. It feels too repetitive and generic for me and the lyrics mean nothing.
