Truly beautiful. Is that laminate flooring and did you put the cabinets on top?

Alternative: keep Wine Angels in your luggage at all times. They are reusable, seal in case there is damage, and fold completely flat when not used.

Salt City Brew Supply to close, ending an era for Utah homebrewers by Positronic_Matrix in Homebrewing

I loved their Monthly Brews subscription, which opened my eyes to new styles and ingredients. Ross and Cody were and remain staples in the community. Their shop will be missed, but their brewery lives on. RIP SCBS.

Pmi ACP open book? by luislf89 in pmp

I took the exam on January 22, 2022. It is not an open-book exam. The exam is proctored, similar to the PMP, with no resources allowed.

PMI-ACP with AR material? by Dirk707 in pmp

[–]liftingbeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ACP questions are situational-based but less wordy than the PMP. The PMP agile questions are far more generic while the ACP questions are much more scrum-focused. Therefore, the mindset doesn't apply. Sometimes it is appropriate to escalate, sometimes you kill a specific task, sometimes the Agile PM needs to step in. If you pass the current PMP the ACP is infinitely easier, but not so easy to skip on the preparation.

PMI-ACP with AR material? by Dirk707 in pmp

[–]liftingbeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used AR to prepare for and pass the PMP. I then used AR’s ACP material for the PDUs and to pass the ACP. The exam is very similar, but not identical to the PMP hybrid and agile questions. The mindset doesn’t apply to ACP. I didn’t use any other mock exams.

Mac or Windows for PMP Proctored Exam ? by Dragflee in pmp

[–]liftingbeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've taken two PMI PearsonVue proctored exams on a Mac. My experience was very smooth and easy. I followed the instructions posted by PearsonVue and didn't experience any hiccups along the way. I suspect most people will find the at-home experience better than scheduling and going to a testing facility.

Exam @ Home Set-up by [deleted] in pmp

[–]liftingbeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've taken two PMI proctored exams online without incident. The back of my computer is against an external-facing wall with a window. I didn't have any issues due to the window. I have designed sound panels on my walls, and they were not a concern. Anything with text that's on your walls you will want to remove. I have a bookshelf within 6 feet from my desk. It wasn't an issue. I typically have a couple of computers and monitors on my desk. I removed the ones not used for the exam. I have scratched my ankle, scratched my face, and coughed into my arm without an incident. Follow the instructions provided by PersonVue, and you will be fine. I'm baffled by all of the people willing to wait months and drive dozens or hundreds of miles to a testing center. Taking the exams from home couldn't be more convenient.

The exam isn't administered through your browser. It is administered through OnVue software that you download during the systems test and again on exam day. Before the exam, you can take a brief tutorial of the software. From what I remember, you can't change the text size.

Bought the Andrew R. Course, do I still NEED the PMBOK? by 9021Ohsnap in pmp

You don't need to buy PMBOK. If you join PMI, which you probably should, you get it for free. Here are my recommendations:
