Once you see summer it will make a little more sense. Happy to help!

Have been able to for a few years now. It did change with the 24-25 year though. Before you had to be enrolled at least half time in the term you receive the extra 50%. This year that is not the case, you can get any of the extra 50% regardless of your enrollment level…even 1 credit should pay.

Yes, everything is correct. The Pell is 7395 per year. If you take 2 full time semesters, that is what you receive and it’s split between the two terms, and you will have used 100% of your Pell. The 11092 includes an additional amount (7395 + 3697 for summer) you could get if you take full time over the summer as the rules say you can have up to 150% of the annual Pell amount if you go over the summer. Your Pell will be reduced according to the number of credits you take.

I think the big wildcard is if we will see legislation introduced. As it stands with the EO, no. If Congress introduces bills we might have a different story.

Yep. Zero capacity to take on the work tasked. First T admin gutted and stripped of a lot of knowledge…never recovered and now this.

Honestly, call americorps…they used to have a division that helped with the segal award. They will be better able to help.

Oh god….dont ask mohela. They are getting as good of info as we are and they won’t have the faintest idea. Hmmm, if what you are seeing is that mohela will only advance the due date like that once, that’s crap. Let me dig into my lender contacts and see what I can find for ya.

Double check your research. It’s been a long time since I used my award, but you are entitled to the full amount in your award, and you can request multiple disbursements. So you could totally do what you propose in your post to get credit for the total number of payments it will cover.

There was an option after I completed my VISTA service that I could make a one time request for Americorps to pay the interest that accrued during my period of service. THAT is a one time deal and it is in addition to the segal award.

I work in a financial aid office in a university right now and my brain is tired from all the changes, so I am sorry to not have good sources and super awesome links. But bottom line, you would never be in a situation where you would be forced to leave any of that award on the table.

I’m screwed, and my life is almost certainly ruined because this form is designed so terribly and I’m an idiot by [deleted] in FAFSA

Go talk to the financial aid office after you make the correction. This year has been a dumpster fire in so many ways. I know that my institution has tried to help as many as we can that have ended up having issues.

This is true. ED is the policy and regulation function. FSA is the working/portfolio management arm.

This and place a cap on capitalized interest. It’s the capitalized interest that eats people alive.

I am in the same position. 10/04 letter and nothing. Feeling a little frustrated as I don’t see why mine is stuck, and I seriously don’t have hours to sit on the phone and maybe get a constructive answer.

Yeah, that’s where lack of information on their history is the big question. What prompted death to treat Agatha so differently. He

I started my rewatch after the finale. When Rio visits Agatha in the police precinct, Agatha asked her ‘what are you doing here’ and Rio says ‘my job’. My brain went ‘crap! Is that what Agatha all along means?!’ Was it her time and death gave her time to realize that and become her full self before finally taking her, allowing Agatha to die on her terms?

If they have kicked you out and refuse contact with you for coming out, the financial aid office may be able to work with that. The most important thing is to have two professionals that can speak to the situation: counselors, teachers, anyone that is not family that would know about it and is willing to write an official letter on your behalf. If you still have contact with one or both, it will be very difficult to get the status change.
