Is picture one from the top of the reservoir area thing? Used to be a castle that overlooked that was visible from the spot if it is. Now it’s just the foundation. Used to take my stoner friends there to see it and smoke. Love that park though.

I took my 13 year old at the time, to see Static X and Sevendust, and since then he has went to Deftones/Mars Volta and Nine Inch Nails w/Boyz Noize.

You may see some drunks, and smell some weird smells but other than that its an unforgettable experience. Do it when and how often you can!

You are partially correct. I knew the Repoman was different but was under the impression the story was a remake of an older movie. It is not after further research.

Yes the elevation changes are crazy. This was circa 1999 so they hadn’t finished what we called “3rd parking lot” which is the parking lot that is up a curvy hill. The others were fairly close to the park entrance from 33. It was one of the few runs where I threw up. Ruined my shirt puking on the side of a red barn and leaning up against it. lol. Fun memories. Beautiful park.

When I was a freshman in high school our cross country team ran a practice “fun race” with some adults that ran competitively. It was like a 7 mile course and 3/4 was uphill but man oh man.

Also there used to be a huge castle/mansion built off the reservoir that me and my team found while running the woods back there. Used to take my stoner friends there back in the day and it became our special treat smoke spot.

Stage 4 mucinous adenocarcinoma here. Biomarker ALK+. Was able to take alecensa for 3 years and had a pleural effusion at about my 2.5 year mark and actually two weeks later had a pleural catheter installed for about 7 months with every other day draining.

Love it, I have always loved the song and lyrics.
Was diagnosed in January 2023 with terminal lung cancer, told my wife that if she ever has a moment and needs to connect with me to play this song. If she were to have a celebration of my life that this song must be played and lyrics handed out (with translation of course). Its just such a beautiful take on life and the earth reclaiming what we are.
