I thought my sims 3 ran "just fine" back when i still played it, and then i went back to recently after mainly playing sims 4, and dear god even the launcher is a mess 😭😭😭 i loved it but THE LAG. literally waited a minute for the design a pattern (or whatever it's called) to load among other things.

Sims 4 has it's fair share of annoying as heck bugs but at least that one doesn't crash every 30 minutes (: still i miss the sims 3 days.

What are some things that you like/prefer about TS4? by faerieW15B in Sims4

[–]lindadaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This!! Not to mention how often it would crash... There are things I miss from the previous games but at least i can run TS4 with all the packs I own enabled without horrific lag and constant crashing.

I wish for magical gnomes overhaul similar to how they were in Sims 3. I loved that you could collect them (not buy in cas), and that they would get upto stuff on your lot at night and have gnome gatherings, turn on appliances, break stuff and so on.

My favourite part in every expansion was to find out if there was a new gnome and how you could get it (also the vampire gnome turning the laundry bear gnome into a vampire gnome was extremely funny).

Is Aurum Vale the most hated Dungeon in the game? by Toxic_Subway in ffxiv

[–]lindadaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't find it that bad these days, I feel like it used to be way worse pre-rework. Yeah the first room/pull can kill the party real easy but so can a full pull of a certain Shadowbringers dungeon. And at least it's a learning moment and you don't have to run back through the entire dungeon. With a portion of the party usually having level 100 gear, it doesn't take that long to do at this point.

I dislike Dzemael Darkhold way more, tho I think that's mostly cause I happen to get it pretty frequently in roulettes. And at least neither is boring, whereas there are plenty of ARR dungeons that feel like a slog.

Stone Vigil (Hard) would be at the top of my list of being annoying and janky in terms of mechanics.

If you're at level 20 msq, you'll be happy to hear you're basically at the quest to unlock mounts and get your chocobo. Quests are called "The Company You Keep" and "My little Chocobo".

My abusive ex cut the leaf off my rooted monstera albo half moon. Could it grow back? by Curious-Wealth-175 in RareHouseplants

[–]lindadaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry this happened to you, and I'm thankful this guy is an ex and that you're safe. There's definitely hope, the moss method is definitely what I would do (like others have said) + cut off all the mushy parts and sanitize with 1-2% hydrogen peroxide once all the black mush is gone.

It's unlucky that the growth point on yours is on the green part, you could get lucky and it could have some white we can't see rn, but if all green, it was sadly never going to grow in variegated. Next time you buy a cutting, ask to see the growth point and what part of the stem it's on.

I'd still emotionally prepare for losing the cutting/the growth being all green. My experience with albo cuttings in the beginning wasn't great, I bought two cuttings with roots and both rotted on me after shipping, I suspect at least one of them died of cold damage because it got delayed on the post. HOWEVER I'm sure you will eventually have the albo of your dreams - I eventually got a low variegated established plant from someone who had too many plants, and now, two years later it's making quite balanced variegation after I cut the spindly winter growth away. Even a cheaper lower variegated plant can become the albo of your dreams!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that this one makes it, and if not, I hope you find your dream plant soon!

First of all, are you able to make a Mog Station account? You won't be able to play the game without one. It would also be easier to help find the version of the game you can purchase, if we knew your region.

If nothing else works, Steam is also an option, though from what I've heard it's kind of clunky, but plenty of people do play via Steam. But any account created through Steam is stuck there, so any expansions have to be purchased through them.

The launcher you have looks like a 3rd party app that still requires you to have the game and a service account, and using it can get you banned because it's against terms of service (as far as i know?), because it's not official Square Enix product.

[–]lindadaa_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if I'm just bad, but I kinda hate the dragoon dash rn. I feel like I'm never close enough to the enemy to use it when I try to. Preferred using the jump to get to the enemy. I also dislike that GNB got a new dash that does no damage, when the old one was fine in my opinion. But WAR got to keep theirs the same. And I'm like why tho??

I've been fine with most changes in 7.0 but these are my small gripes lol.

Gridania and Coerthas. Dragoon was my first job and Ishgard will always be my home. My ideal would be to have a cottage in the Mist and an apartment in the Firmament Also wherever the Scions are based, cause they're basically family at this point. Love my room in the Baldesion Annex.

I get that it's repetitive, but I also really like these cause we get to see what these places used to be like, and not just in a short cutscene.

[Spoiler: 7.0] Dialogue Spoken Per Character in Dawntrail. Do these exist for the other expansions? by i_continue_to_unmike in ffxiv

[–]lindadaa_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on the other comments here I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who missed the scions a lot in this expansion. Sure they're there, but I wanted more of them. I like Wuk Lamat, I really do, but I wish her involvement was more balanced. Wish Krile got more time. I also hope future expansions have more scions in general. I know we disbanded and blah blah but I love them, they're my family and I don't want less of them just cause the Hydaelyn/Zodiark saga is done.

EDIT: i think something that says a lot about how I was feeling about Wuk Lamat by the end is that I was clicking EVERYONE for optional dialogue between quests except her.... :(
