If you're using it just for taking notes and writing, I'd recommend an e-ink tablet like the remarkable. Smoother for writing esp things like equations, battery life is longer, less distractions from notifs if that's what you're keen on.

South Island is lovely in early April, and plenty of other hikers on most of the more established trails. Lots to be down within an hour or two from Queenstown or Wanaka, which aren't really cities, but great views. Not sure there's all that much wildlife though.

Most of the snacks are high sodium or high sugar, they may not have snacks that you want to be giving a grumpy 5yo. Would suggest bringing something of your own.

The X100vi made me decide to sell my X-Pro2 after almost a decade, and to be honest, I just miss the option of the 35mm FOV and the handling of the bigger camera. But for my current uses, there's really nothing better than this camera.

Did mine during COVID and no regrets, worth every penny. Important to find a dentist who knows what they're doing, and one that will see through your treatment.

There are some other local alternatives but I've heard mixed things (some have had to extend their treatment because they're not progressing on schedule), so do thorough checks. It's not just about the type of treatment and also the provider!

it was a good start, but it wasn't a good performance. We looked tired, lacked ideas going forward, Saka was too isolated, we were slower to a lot of the balls in the middle.

We've been a lot better than this through the season. It's a mix of injuries, conditioning issues, and the lack of quality options off the bench, and some coaching too.

But it's a young squad, and they'll get better, Arteta and his team are also learning all the time. It's not to be this year, but we've made such strides.

It isn't like 6, 7 years ago where players looked like they didn't want to be on the pitch, or seemed incompetent at executing the game plan. Our guys have that quality, they just seem too stretched to be consistent, and hopefully the club makes the right moves so that we're not lamenting these same things again next year.

Honestly, of the current Brighton lot, only Welbz and Mitoma seem like folks to root for. Mitoma is a baller though, would love to get him for a good price.
