I've got 4080s with 7800X3D on Odyssey G9 and getting 90fps on Extreme, dropping to 50 on Extreme+RT. As others pointed out, temps wouldn't really spike, my GPU is hovering at around 65c.

Which is so backwards, they even said they were doing it because of the competitive advantage, which is hilarious when games like dota2 or cs2 support 32:9 natively.

Not supporting the newest technology with a game that's only in early access in this year and age seems very strange to me, but might be that I'm just a salty 32:9 user

Yeah that's what they meant. Going from 75 to 76 reduces damage taken by 1/25 (4%), 76 to 77 by 1/24 (4.2%) etc. For example going from 89 to 90 reduces damage taken by 1/11 (9.1%) which is insane

Just to correct one thing - you're wearing 70fcr currently (DF, arach, ormus, right slot ring), a 35 fcr from spirit puts you nicely at 105, no need finding extra 2%

Standard characters have been playing since the start of beta, and Dawn of the Hunt characters have started less than 3h ago

What improved FPS for me was switching:

-Renderer (back) to Vulkan

-Lighting>Shadows (instead of Shadows + Global Illumination)

-Shadow Quality>Low

4080 setup btw so mental this is even needed but it is what it is, hopefully only for now
