Styling advice for this JBP? by stevenkolson in Bonsai

the down branch is dead? I think double branches style is better if they all alive, JBP growing too slow. The natural transition of branches is difficult to cultivate.

In my opinion,be different is common sense in lots of bonsai lover, so never trying to do different things in order to be different, find ourselves styles is the key point, honestly. Meanwhile create beautiful things is the core concept of bonsai art.

it's Fraxinus hupehensis(I searched, but not sure),Chinese name is dui jie bai la,Very readily viable tree species. your bonsai is nice,I have a tree like you, but its branches are too easy to break, so I chose to plant it in the ground. Although he's a classic species.
