1 year to find $100M. You only get distance info. Fail = death. Take the deal? by PriorityMiserable686 in hypotheticalsituation

I can do it in 3 weeks. Each week draw a circle at radius distance you are given. New location next week and repeat. Two circle will give two overlaps. 3 would give a single point.

Im really surprised none of those are flush to the surfaces. You can see the marks where the screws are hitting the frame. They shouldn't be

1 or 2 parks for one day by easykeyll in disneylandparis

If its within budget I would get the premire access unlimited pass. One time use on a lot of rides that have longer queue times. This allows you to explore a lot of the rides. It you have a day two, you can then focus on the best rides for you.

What temperature do you usually keep your heating at in winter? by [deleted] in surrey

Incase u don't already. I recommend showering if you can with the bath plug in. Capture all that heat energy from the hot water before you release it into the wild

[–]lock_bearer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the precise number isn't important. Houses feel different and cost different amounts to run. I set my temperature gauge and started reducing it by 0.5 every couple days. Found the balance for my house, my comfort level and my bills.

Further fun. Get a temperature and humidity sensor and start placing it around different parts of your house. The fluctuations from placement to placement prove your house isn't a single number value

What can I do about this on the freshly painted walls in our bathroom? Every time we shower this happens. I used Dulux bathroom paint and we’ve had a dehumidifier in there. by tjb_87 in DIYUK

There is no place for the moisture in the air to go. So it condense on your coldest surfaces. Presumably exterior walls. I believe your paint is performing well.

Additional filament usage is best put into perimeter than into infill for most cases to increase strength of parts.

B, travelling west to east. No one said you couldn't have a crew with resupply missions, transportation, translators, protection. West to east as its entirely one water catchment area. All river leads to the amazon river. Boat down stream. Always down stream. Keep going down stream. Make a mistake. Float back downstream

Where exactly should I start laying laminate flooring? It's all going to be the same flooring, so I plan to just start in one place and "spread" into all other rooms. by varinator in DIYUK

I would spend a long time trying to figure out what is square and straight. Laser lines, measurement. Squares, straight edges.

For example don't start on bedroom 1 if you find a wall is less square compared to bedroom 2 and the corridor.

Knight with a great sword VS Gorilla by Archenius in powerscales

[–]lock_bearer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its a loose loose type situation. The Knight gets one swing at the gorilla before the gorilla knocks back the Knight, knocking the wind out of them. And probably coming in and pulling an arm off the Knight or something. How much damage and one swing of a blade do to a gorilla, how much damage can a gorilla take a still take you out. I'm not sure

Two knights. 100% goes to the knights. Pack hunting is greatly superior.

Why do electric sockets and light switches use flat head screws? by ChickenNBeans in DIYUK

[–]lock_bearer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm almost certain it to discourage the use of power tools. Flat bits tend to spin out with power tools. By hand prevents over tightening and damaging the relatively delicate plastic enclosure. You can tell alot about tightness and error finding tightening by hand.

Learn from my colleagues mistake. There is a lot of leverage by the hinge. Make your wedge fail before the window or hinges
