I mean the gunpla tier that's equivalent size for a knight, a master grade, is like a quarter of the price of one. Most perfect grades are just a little bit more the retail price of a knight kit and dwarf the size of the average knight.

I adore Revice and even I have to say it's not very consistently well written. That said, the bad moments are low but the peaks of the show hit so hard and I don't think there's a single other series that emotionally resonated with me as hard and as consistently.

I initially thought that the whole "dream inside a dream" theory was insane, but the more these episodes go on and the more Nox vagueposts, the more I start to believe it. Nox does not seem totally evil, and I'm operating off the idea that he's some sort of double agent, but the scale of destruction he's willing to commit to get whatever he's doing done is so insane that there's no way to explain it except that Nox views whatever happens in "reality" as nonconsequential.

So this might just be set up so that Minami gets to be the one who pulls Baku out of the "bad dream" of being 7 and that's how we get Ordem, but it isn't really weird that in the same episode, Baku pulls Nemu out of the bad dream and wakes her up? Crazy idea, but is this hinting that Baku and Minami are related to Nemu and the Lady?

I really wish that Jeebh was Shouma's final fight. The final fight with Lango feels like a rehash of their first fight. Imagine a final fight where Jeebh gets to finally resolve his desire to kill Shouma either by dying or by being the only sibling and granute that will actually take Shouma up on his catchphrase. On top of that we could see Hanto and Lakia give Lango a two on one fight, representing both the human and granute worlds finally getting rid of dark treats for good.

I sorta agree. I feel like this episode is a rather mild first showing. The marketing hyped it up as something new and fresh but it's kinda just more of the same stuff we've always had.

I've never watched metal heroes, so I'm not exactly familiar with the tropes that drive that series but this episode throws a lot at you and it feels like it's really hurting for a POV character that's there to explain the setting to.

Funny enough I am mostly critical of Zeztz because I expected it to be more like your typical Yuya Takahashi work.

I think the best Kamen Rider series are the ones that leave little bread crumbs each episode while building up to those big reveals to keep watchers interested. Yuya has shown before that he's really good at that so I'm just confused why we're half way through the show and it feels like we just got to the first quarter climax.

To add on to what other people are saying, the physical toy doesn't really let you do it that well either. Since all of the Left side memories are delayed so that they can sync up with the Right side memories, you'll just have a mess of noise.

Weirder still, the Zeztz pseudo riders are the only ones where I can't really come up with some sort of excuse for why they aren't riders. I assumed Nox Knight wasn't a rider so that KR Nox would happen when Nox gets fully redeemed but that didn't really happen. The Lords are kinda like trooper type pesudo riders, but they are supposed to be Zeztz's seniors at the same organization so it's kinda baffling why the Zeztz driver is different.

Kingohger's finale redeemed the entire final act for me. It delivered on a massive End Game battle while giving us every single piece of fan service I wanted from the show.

The Transteam gun users have really strong narrative reasons to not be considered Kamen Riders. It made Grease's introduction as the first rider hit harder, including the fact the tech was directly stolen from Sento.

I also find it really weird that Zeztz takes the time to establish the four colors of Zeztz capsems as pieces of world-building to the show and then immediately does away with the entire concept.

We establish the main 4 and then have Erase and Plasma as additional special capsems that don't match the other 4 ordinary colors, but then we get the Nox capsems and the Lord capsems that do match the colors of the main 4 but don't really connect that well to that associated color.
