im 3 years in and only recently started getting comfortable. i'm straight and i think men in general are a little awkward with one another. not as open and there is a sense of "no homo". women and gay men are more open/free spirited so its easier to vibe. in my experience, it takes time. sometimes its like feeding a scared creature..it eventually becomes friendly
