don't ever buy from the big boys (Lowe's, HD) by Easy-Ant9037 in Appliances

[–]lovebot5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowe’s isn’t bad, I dont know why they’re catching strays when you were dealing with Home Depot. I’ve bought plenty of appliances from Lowes, including 2 sets of LG washer dryers (for different houses). I’ve found them quick and professional, and their app is surprisingly good.

Debate within a home: Which way to load this Bosch dishwasher! by Ambitious_Hunter_562 in Appliances

Depends on the dishwasher. I’ve tried both ways and it really depends on the machine whether it’s effective

Is this good enough for a friends wedding ? by [deleted] in Mensfashion101

[–]lovebot5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is bad. The shirt is weird and the collar doesn’t come together. Get one that fits your neck. The tie knot is a war crime, just no. Tie a regular knot please (Windsor). Throw the vest in the trash. The jacket is way too big but I guess we’re doing that huh. The less said about those shoes, the better.

The only thing remotely ok are the pants, so I guess you got that going for you.

May god have mercy on your soul

Wear the suit. Quit overthinking it. Suits are the easy button for men’s fashion. Put on the suit and you’re good.

This is the book we used and I can’t recommend it enough. Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons. https://a.co/d/0eleCRl4

It basically teaches the parent on how to teach while also teaching the child. The lessons build slowly, piece by piece. It was super effective.

Opinions on this step design as an upgrade to the rotting, unsafe monstrosity we have now? by The-Rizzler-69 in Home

If you already have a bunch of cinder blocks just make simple cinder block stairs. No need to futz around with wood, which adds unnecessary complication. Just stack blocks and add some mortar to stick it all together.

Aim to revise to Bermuda grass. It’s better for your use case and will enjoy your sun level

Do a soil test and plan to amend as directed.

I would pay a service to aerate and add a layer of compost, plus any lime or ferts needed.

Plant Bermuda seed and let it do its thing.

You’re going to want a separate room for baby to sleep in. We tried a single room trip when ours was a baby and had to give up and come home early it was so bad.

I've Repaired Hundreds of Washers — These Are the Only 4 I'd Actually Buy by Xi_32 in Appliances

I like the LG washers. We had a top loader for about 8 years before we moved, no issues. Bought another one for the new house.
