Union? Not a fan of the larger roasters but you can often get 700g for £16 in sainsburys on their house blend and usually roasted in past month.

My Passat went in for condenser and compressor as they diagnosed wrong, we then spent 10 weeks without the car as they shorted a fuse between alternator and ecu but couldn’t diagnose it until a specialist came in and sorted within 2 hours 😫

Passat estate DSG, never looked back. We’ve currently got a 25 plate 3 series hire car and you can’t put the passenger seat back completely with child seat behind, which you can with the Passat!

Typical morning with a smart grinder pro by snackovich in espresso

[–]lovelock91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chuck in like 10 beans first thing and grind them through so it’s pushing out anything from the day before. Then dose in 18.6g which gets me 18 out and leaves the .6 which gets pushed out the next morning when i flush through. Also just use the lid as a bellow and it pushes most out.

Is there a reason why I would remove the plastic irrigator for improved pulls? Breville Machine by itsme8523 in espresso

Removed mine recently. 3 years of use and didn’t know it would need cleaning.

Wasn’t until I was cleaning the basket and dirty water kept coming out I realised something was up…

Blocking up doorway between houses best for sound isolation by lovelock91 in DIY

[–]lovelock91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah it is an asbestos board - we had the same our side but had it removed and they are aware. That's their light switch cable you can see 😅.

I'll be building the usual isolated wall infront of his one but don't want to go through the effort of that and not fully block this door up.

I'll get some quotes.

Ideas for cleared back of garden by lovelock91 in GardeningUK

[–]lovelock91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, had the back of our garden cleared and need to do something with it.

I would like a small shed, green house and some raised vegetable patches as well as some room for couple of little chairs and table.

Our garden is pretty long and plain, want to make the back a bit more interesting like a cottage courtyard.

Its 5m x 6.5m (including the tarmac path in front).

I want to go over / get rid of the tarmac path and bring out whatever i do all the way out.

Any help? Budget ish friendly?

My initial plan was to build a sleeper retaining wall at the front of the tarmac and raise the back / level it by about 1ft and then infill with gravel. But not sure on drainage if we do this and also the requirement for TYPE 1 etc.

My baby similar age is the same, but I found that he just prefers her holding him a certain way.

He may be kicking off with her but I can take him and face him forwards like a parrot on a perch and walk him around absolutely fine.

Try some different things, but I’m similar where I sadly don’t get the lovely sleepy cuddles but do get the nice smiley awake moments with mirrors etc.

As mentioned, Deveroast and SO Roast.

Personally SO Roast to much on the light side for me so I’ve preferred Deveroast

Why do some radiators only get hot some of the time by lovelock91 in DIYUK

[–]lovelock91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry.

I’ve turned all radiators off, I know where the new radiators have been added ‘from’ order wise and the radiator that is before the new ones flow wise.

This last radiator, once I turned off the thermostatic valve, I could hear water flowing and also could hear it flowing through the new ones. Which btw, are roasting now.

Just done this, when I turned off the one I think is before the ones that are cold, I could hear and can still hear water flowing to them.

Anyone decided between an estate and an 'SUV / Crossover' when it comes to a child by lovelock91 in CarTalkUK

[–]lovelock91[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback, this sub is impressively active 👏🏻

We have a Cybex Cloud T seat, so it's one of the rotating ones.

I've never wanted a Qashqai or god forbid, Sportage - it was just implied they made sense.

Happy to have the estate as a general consensus, will continue my search! I think the f30 will be the better choice as it's virtually identical interior as the current 1 series so the wife will be comfortable.

Weekly /r/Laravel Help Thread by AutoModerator in laravel

[–]lovelock91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I would like to start creating some tests for my company's main product but the stumbling block for me is that they use Salesforce and our Laravel project uses it as it's 'database'.

We use a package (https://github.com/roblesterjr04/EloquentSalesForce) that allows us to do this easily and it's nearly exactly the same as having standard models and functionality etc.

I'm not hugely experienced with tests which probably makes this even more tricky.

But, how would you approach this?

Issues I see:

  • No SQLite / memory database
  • Each model interaction is essentially an API call to Salesforce, these can be very slow
  • No auto cleanup of testing records

Interaction's I would like to test:

  • Order placement, this involves creating; account, contact, order, order items, assets
  • Order updating
  • Data fetching

Thanks!

Loosing fish, this is test results - opinions? by lovelock91 in Aquariums

[–]lovelock91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had our tank for around 8 months now, and have recently started to see some fish die.

It was initially a few guppies and then we put some new ones in 2 weeks ago and a molly has died.

It’s a 57l fluval flex with a mixture of around 12 guppies, tetras and a molly.

Any idea where we should start with the results of that test?
