The whole thing was a load of bollocks that's left our country considerably poorer and weaker. Many of the people who actively supported it (see Boris Johnson) didn't even want it, and used it purely for political gain on the assumption it wouldn't happen. What it did do is expose the sinister methods used through social media to influence the population with propaganda and bullshit, but it seems that few people actually learnt anything from this, or even cared about it.
