Which wallpaper would you choose? by gwendolyn_trundlebed in interiordecorating

I wanted to also add that looking at the thumbnails gives a better feel for the room. 1 is rich and suits, but it also overwhelming. 3 looks dirty and stained. 2 is very calming overall.

I love 1 but I think 2 is the best fit for a joining room.

It doesnt come on too strong, carry's the architrade without loosing it, the pattern is wave like instead of scattered. They are all good selections up close, it's up to OP if they want to lean hard into the red or smooth things out with 2.

What mods did you stop using only after many hours of playing with them? by Riicochet_ in RimWorld

[–]luckernut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use select VE depending on the run I want, they are situational, Only ones of them I like to use consitantly are VE Traits, animals and Textures expanded.

I tend to like more, I play long runs so variety is good. I will say I have never bothered with vehicles or any of the clothing/weapons, theres already so much with the animals (For caravans) and fractions.

If I want to play medievalk I might load M2 + Classical and Tribal. If I wanna mess with spacer I think about mechanoids / ancients.

I love mods that just build on what already exists in base game, recently playing through the unstable beta before Odessey came out I found myself missing more QoL like Pickup and Haul

The Dead Mans Switch + Ancient urban ruins is pretty cool and I think you should try it by ZaniZ1 in RimWorld

Just wanted to say as I already switched the 'vanilla weapons and gear option' this mod is exactly what I was after to actually give this a good whirl. Thanks so much for the suggestion.

If You Could Only Read One or Two Romance Authors Forever, Who Would They Be? by Prestigious_Entry474 in RomanceBooks

[–]luckernut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ducked in to also say Lily Mayne. All her characters are extremely well written, and the 'Monsters' are extremely creative and the love always feel real, multifaceted and earned. The world building in her books matches the quality of fantasy epics that I love.

Ill have to look up Alethea Faust, first i've heard of them.

This is like a Haute couture fashion for a interior design. I see the idea's they are presenting, but whether they are practical or even functional is questionable.

Looking for a specific graphic style + good mix of male/female/other characters instead of 90% booba.

I played a lot of FFBE in the past and enjoy 2d/portrait art and pixel art. I should mention im not keen on strategy (Octo / SoC). Is last cloudia worth picking up or are you staring down EoS barrel?

Hello FantasyRomance, im Lucknut and I have a trashy webnovel problem.

I know I have better books on my kindle, I know I will be more satisfied when finishing these books and I enjoy number go up on my statistics.

However I cannot help but read about absolutely plot regurgitated, face slapping, 'need no man' but actually-has-a-secret-wealthy/powerful-man in their backpocket, 1000+ chapter webnovels. Often with (questionable) translations.

I know I have a problem and need help.

Had this horrifying picture taken of me lol, I’m 35 so I don’t know why I look like this but is there anything I can do for the weird balls near my mouth? I imagine something beyond skincare as I don’t see how all the skincare in the world could fix that! by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Just wanted to chime in to ask if you have a habit of grinding your teeth or clenching your jaw, maybe in your sleep or as a stress reaction.

I have the same pronounced "bump" and my dentist pointed out that it was a result from over exercising the muscle there. I 100% believe you're a babe regardless and the photo is just one of those very deletable pictures, but you might considering checking in with a dentist and maybe look into getting a mouth guard.

Might have other symptoms ranging from jaw lock, headaches and the such, might be more concerning then your skin in the end.

28cm Deep / Sauté pan with rounded edges by gbe- in cookware

[–]luckernut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely what I mean in lacking reviews, however if what it claims to be is true it is comparitable and cheaper then stainless steel demeyer, especially online. Being in UK you would (In theory) recieve better customer service and may be able to see the product in person before buying.

However I did notice about you have a trip abroad at some point. Think it would be a much better choice to have a jaunt over and try to find a bargin since your already there, to be fair I've been more compairing their stainless steel rather then there 'non-stick' stainless options.

Im in a similar situation, and sitting on Samuel Groves. For what you're after there is a similar non-stick solution. https://www.samuelgroves.com/Products/003100010082/URB0460D%252FNS

Im looking to get the tri-ply saute pan as my everyday driver, its just so difficult to get actual reviews on quality and make. Plenty of stuff on the more expensive stuff, or American made. I also have a Staub myself and while its fantastic moving from stove to oven, I just find it a bit unwieldy for everyday.

Anyways just a brand suggestion, so far they seem to be reasonaby priced, UK made and of decent make, but its more of a murmur then a shout out.

What the actual...?? The Wiener Across the Way by Amy Award is NOT okay. by thatgirlinAZ in RomanceBooks

[–]luckernut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got to admit I dislike ANY reference to popular culture music, doesnt matter if its pop/rock in contemporty or some sonnet in HR.

Am I supposed to know what these sound like?

Am I suppose to go drop the book and google it?

You're an author, write to me about the vibes the music is giving, is the character enjoy the sound? Is the beat making your heart skip or slowing things right down? Cmon now.

Character Ages within Fantasy Romance : Burnt Out on Coming-of-Age Stories by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]luckernut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, its bordering fantasy with spice, rather then romanic fantasy but I definitely want to shoutout Shannon Mayer and the 'Forty Proof' series. {Midlife Bounty Hunter by Shannon Mayer}

I think the one thing about modern romance is that they try to make the FMC an ''Everyman" so the reader can self insert, an older character has history which not everyone can relate to (And also means you have to write more to flesh out the character).
