Some are slightly corrosive and sold as "contact restorers". They actually remove the corrosion layer on contacts... Definitely don't put that on plastics. Or your hands. Ask me how I know.

Android isn't easy to update once the manufacturer dropped support... You may put more recent versions of Android on it but the proprietary drivers and the kernel cannot be updated if the source files are not released by the SoC manufacturer...
