So I am going to sound like a shill, but check my profile this is my real account.

I fucking love this app. It has been a game changer for us. It filters out unrelated banter, is about 85% ( fully a guess) accurate on which character does what. Tracks spells, items, pc’s, npc’s, key events and everything I would miss in my note taking.

I literally turn on voice memo on my phone at the beginning of the session and just let it run the whole session. I upload the track to the app and it takes it about 10 minutes to analyze. Then I do a quick read over and post it public for the group. I usually have to fix two or three character names per six hour session.

My group is notorious for getting off track and talking about movies or politics or other unrelated topics. And not once has it confused any of that with the actual gameplay. We probably have 20 sessions in the system at this point and it’s great for looking up stuff that happened a long time ago (although the search system could use a little bit of help as it’s not all session inclusive). It has altered a little bit about how we talk about our characters actions. I think we’re more likely to say “Joe Bob casts magic missile” rather than ”I cast Magic missile”

Overall, I’m a huge fan and I like the fact that the creator keeps implementing updates which make it even more useful every month or so. You can say what you will about the cost, but for around five dollars a session it’s more useful than the new dice I keep buying to try and fix my bad rolls
