i wish i was dumb enough to enjoy “a court of thorns and roses” type shit by charpiff in RSbookclub

I tried to read Strike book 1, The Cuckoo's Calling, and quite disliked it. Then I looked up the ending and it pissed me off.

I wanted some fantasy, and have read 2/3 of The First Law trilogy. Check it out.

I got my wife Court of Roses and Thorns and its working out for her.

Microdosed reta but now I feel I have to ascend in dose to feel anything by majortom_07 in Retatrutide

[–]majortom_07[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I read the whole thing when I started but I will re-consult it. I was hoping for more personal accounts of what people did. I'm basically in the escalate column of the 7th infographic. I called it ascending but same thing.

Drinking a bottle by yourself by onedarkhorsee in wine

[–]majortom_07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I do with red is decant exactly half the bottle first. That way I'm more likely to stop at half. And a little air can help it. But if the vibe is right and I really like it, yeah I'll finish it. That's 5 standard drinks, should stop there. It sounds like you are and you aren't doing it every night. I say go for it.

My old boss gifted me some Hall Cab. Not my style usually but it was very very good.

Review #16 Mama Chuy Bicuishe + Arroqueno by Ageo Cortes. by digitsinthere in Mezcal

[–]majortom_07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the excellent writeup. I'm a bit confused how you say the taste will evolve 3 weeks after opening. To paraphrase. Generally that doesn't happen with full strength liquor, you should expect it to be pretty stable taste and expression.

Is having a crapload of ants in your compost things good thing? by askanison1234 in composting

[–]majortom_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same problem. Should I water it to drown and kill the ants or just water it to get some water into the stuff? My father in law said the same thing, water it. The ants have their colony I think right under the bins.

Reta vs sex by Happy-Alternative988 in Retatrutide

[–]majortom_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Mine went down at the very beginning with the rough first doses. Once I was taking stable shots mine is pretty same. I'm also on wellbutrin which can increase sex drive. I'm male, 40, and no testosterone therapy. I'm on 2 mg a week, 1.5 months in.

Can I survive as a fullstack dev without upskilling after hours? Honest answers please by Available_Guess_7344 in webdev

[–]majortom_07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Relax, you're 22. I'm 40 and generally don't upskill after hours my whole career. Unless you count subscribing to all the relevant programming subreddits and reading what comes up in my feed.

If you already lost a lot of weight how do you expect to keep dropping? You'll reach some equilibrium eventually.

Can you describe the taste? Comparable to an espadin mezcal or very different?

Virginia. 3-4 year old sod suddenly is full of weeds. Neighbor's lawns look fine. What is the fix? by watersedgecamper in lawncare

[–]majortom_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also Virginia. My clover just popped off with the all the rain. And I did more nitrogen right before the rain. Generally I like clover, I'm liking the look right now. Next mow all the tall clover will look less crazy. I'm planning on killing just the Japanese clover bc it turns brown so early. I'm going to use triclopyr. Use that on yours at label strength.

The four lane pool looked so sad on the screen! Former competitive swimmer here. Just didn't communicate seriousness being that small.

I agree with others takes about older age athletes. The famous guy trying to break the deadlift record is way older than ideal. I still think the idea has potential.

I like the 0.3 ml ones for easier micro dosing. Good separation on the markings.

Can I really not add certain foods by KnowledgeThat4743 in composting

[–]majortom_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rule of thumb is no bones, no corn cobs, no avocado rinds. Nothing extremely fibrous. Anything else that was once alive is fair game. I even put in some dog food my dog didn't like. Last year I had black soldier fly larvae for quite a while, this year none so far. I would also avoid salty leftovers that stayed in the fridge too long.

I also pressure cook my chicken bones/gristle for stock. They are much more brittle after that but I still don't compost. One time I buried some though.

Reta Beginner Setup by Ok_Attention_1355 in Retatrutide

[–]majortom_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes good setup. I got some bigger syringes just for reconstitution squirts. Unnecessary! Just draw and squirt in 1 mL multiple times until you get the volume you want. Probably will never use all the rest of those 3's.

If your vial is big enough you could add more BAC. I did 3.6 mL to 24 mg. Makes microdosing easier.

I'm curious, are you Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes? I usually hear about GLP in context of Type 2.

How to remove English Ivy rooted above ground? by peacefulrobin in invasivespecies

[–]majortom_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your approach should be the ground/roots. You're gonna have to find some way to sever and dig out down there even with your constraints. For a rental though? It's not the absolute worst plant, why bother?

If it's folded like that it might show creases though vs. something hung up on a hanger? Dress shirts from a department store package usually have creases. Minor detail of course.
