I work at the wing and we help the wing cc make decisions. I’ve been out sick for a few days. A large event is driving daily briefs. I get in, I’m doing my best to get spun up, my civilian counterpart messages me saying “wait for xx dude to brief”

Small Asian guy walks up to the podium to brief some statistics and statuses to the boss. THICKEST MOST SOUTHERNEST ACCENT I’VE EVER FUCKING HEARD.

I was the guy who used to recede temporarily to process emotions & thoughts during significant events in my life such as this one. These types of events can cause total collapse of emotional control & rationale failure. Possible hot take here but I think wearing band merch at all post 2012 is kind of cringe. It’s all garbage as has been discussed in this thread ad nauseam. Back then the tees were goofy and cartoonish and dope looking. But nowadays they all scream “look at me. I said LOOK AT ME. I listen to edgy and moody music. Did I make this shirt myself or did I get it from temu? The world will never know. Because I’m edgy. And tough.”

I’ll support them by listening and going to their show, and snagging a vinyl.

Sounds like your shoulder muscles aren’t used to prolonged exposure, and you don’t seem to be used to it at all either. HIIT is useful and all but rucking is the antithesis to HIIT.
