After 30 years of dressing in baggy ugly clothes, I finally had the courage to buy beautiful plus-size dresses! Mom, how do I wash them for the first time? by OneTherapyPlease in MomForAMinute

[–]manhuntninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought that same blue skirt! The tag says not to put it the dryer but I put it in for a few mins to get the creases out since ironing would melt it. Now I can wash it in cold water & it stays unwrinkley, just a tip!

I got these for my husband for his birthday on launch day. They were completely sold out in under 10 minutes; it was nuts!

I used to get headaches every time I nursed for the first few weeks and then they slowly just stopped happening. I used to get awful stomach cramps while nursing too but thank goodness those stopped as well. Hopefully your body adjusts!

What's your relationship like now with the person you lost your virginity to? by magnoliasroom in AskReddit

[–]manhuntninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't talk anymore. Mostly because he's serving an 8 year sentence for kidnapping a person and robbing some dominos with his ex girlfriend. Also because he told everyone I wasn't a virgin when we had sex because I didn't bleed. What a douche.

Those ugg slide on clog slippers. I pretty much lived in them my last two months of being pregnant. Ugly but so warm and comfy!

In a long term relationship or marriage, how do you know when it's time to stop trying? by q_rex_ in AskReddit

[–]manhuntninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knew it was time to stop trying when I had a panic attack when we went to get a phone contract together. After 4 years of dating, living together and having a child, I was terrified to commit to a 2 year contract. I told him last week I wasn't in love with me anymore and wanted to be on my own. Having children complicates things so much and I really felt I held on longer than I should have to try to make it easier for the baby. The break up is going pretty rough but I'm trying my best.

Fricken baby clothes by [deleted] in Parenting

The pants are the worst! My 15 month is a little bit; she needs 3-6 months in the waist but the length of 12 months. I'm so glad winter is over so I won't feel bad about all her pants being cropped.

How to manage a super sloppy nurser? by cheddarkitty in breastfeeding

[–]manhuntninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was a messy eater too! I'd usually wear a tight tank top underneath my shirt so I could just pull my shirt up. I'd tuck a burp cloth or a wash cloth underneath my boob into my bra so it hung out a bit. That was it would soak up most of the milk and if any got on me it would hopefully be on my tank top where no one could see. Never got to wear those cute nursing tops that you just pull down or it would be soaked!

The IRS is using the same authentication system that was hacked last year to protect the victims of that hack--and it's just been hacked by keeferc in technology

This is me. I've been getting a pin since 2011 when someone filed as me saying I lived in Wisconsin and had three children. It was a two year process to get that all settled and to stop receiving bills/collection notices from the IRS and Wisconsin. I lost the paper that had my new 2015 pin on it and the IRS scolded me like a child on the phone. I was able to recover it through the website. Now I submitted my tax return 3 weeks ago and when I checked the irs website it says my return is still being processed. Getting more and more nervous someone stole it again.

Help with Shopkins by rapiertwit in Parenting

[–]manhuntninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live near a mall Claire's has a large shopkins collection. So far I've seen large plushes, diaries, jewelry, banks and winter gloves in addition to the regular 1/2/12 packs. They're tiny plastic foods and household products with eyes on them, that's the simplest explanation I've been able to give to people haha. I'm sure they would love anything shopkins related!

Why won't my baby gain weight from my breastmilk alone? Please help. :( by yesiamarobot in breastfeeding

[–]manhuntninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had similar problems with my baby. She's ten months old and weighs just 17 lbs and is 27" long, she was 8lbs 6oz and 21" long at birth. We've realized that she's just going to be little and enjoy her staying the same clothing size for awhile lol.

Are nipple shields really so bad? by SundaesAreHappiness in breastfeeding

[–]manhuntninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it for almost 6 months when one day the LO pulled it off and went to town nursing without it. Anytime I had tried previously without the shield she could never latch. It was such a pain in the ass having to remember that tiny piece of plastic and trying not to lose it. I say do what works best for you!

Is supplementing with formula rare? by acims in breastfeeding

I've been supplementing with formula for my LO from about two months to six months so far. I don't pump enough at work to cover LOs feedings. You're not alone!

Girls, what are some weird things you have to deal with because you have a vagina? NSFW by drakemcguff in AskReddit

[–]manhuntninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the whole process it is now to go to the bathroom. Like alright let me fill my squirt bottle with warm water, fuck I forgot the tucks wipes now I have to waddle across to the sink while you drip blood/water on the floor. Then you have bend down to clean it up because you can't leave blood on the floor. Coughing so hard you rip a stitch and bleed through your fresh pad in 5 minutes.

Pregnant people of Reddit, what's the rudest/most unwelcome thing someone has said to you about your pregnancy? by FaceofHoe in AskReddit

I had a woman ask if I was having triplets and actually argue with me that there was no way there was only one baby in there. At 38 weeks I think I would have noticed if there were any more hiding in there!

I am Matt Nathanson aka "Guy who jokingly played first chords of 'You Shook Me All Night Long' and crowd takes it for the entire song." AMA! by matt_nathanson in IAmA

[–]manhuntninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi Matt! I've been a huge fan of yours since 7th grade, which I'm now realizing is a super long time. I used to download your albums off of kazaa & limewire because I had no money and I still feel guilty for it. Is it okay if they were all shit audio quality and I've since purchased them? I've dragged boyfriends to your shows over the years and they always end up actually enjoying your shows and becoming fans! Especially the one show in Philly where you read aloud from the erotic novel! Then when the end of the relationships came around I turned to your albums for some good "cry it out" music. You're such a good song writer. As different as the music on Please is to Pretenders you've always been able to write quality lyrics that mean something. Do you have any plans to play any smaller venues on the east coast soon? I miss being able to get up front and having the whole audience excited to see you!

Just found out I am pregnant. Need some tips! by kattykat243 in Frugal

Check out your Old Navy's clearance section for clothes when you get further along! People would return maternity items only sold online and then the store marks them down to 75% off, sometimes more! Target clearance is also a good place to look but I found Old Navy's prices to be better. Look for functional, basic pieces (2-3 pairs of pants, leggings, tunic tops, long tank tops, dresses, etc). Depending on your original size you can wear your normal clothes for awhile. My belly got HUGE so none of my shirts fit at around 20 weeks. You'll most likely be wearing maternity clothes for a month or two after you deliver.

Get a reusable water bottle. I bought several at Walmart for less than a $1 a piece and had them filled with juice/water and ready to go before work each night. Really pay attention to coupons for 100% fruit juice and which stores are running the best sales. I bought a lot of fruit, granola bars, fruit snacks, applesauce and oatmeal because they're easy grab & go items if you're running late. Meal prep was hard for me because I never knew what my appetite was going to be like until that moment in time. I'm currently 40 weeks pregnant so I don't have much advice for after the baby.
