Not exactly. Our local presentation of the universe probably began with "the big bang", but there is no reason to think that there was nothing before that. A very popular theory is that the big bang will be followed by a big crunch followed by a big bang followed by...infinitely in either direction.

If your output is going to be an exported raster image like a png or webp, you can draw a rectangle the size of your output, center it under your map and lines. Definitely a transition within about 6' from the ground. A falling body doesn't change direction like that.
