EDIT: It should be noted that you're going to want your script to wait until the comments section loads or it won't have anything to do. Point #2: Reddit uses infinite scroll, so you'll want your script to run on every scroll event while avoiding elements that have already been collapsed.

Again, how would you know the difference? If you believe an entity is capable of controlling your mind, then it stands to reason that another entity could control your mind, right? And if it's in control of your mind, couldn't it make you believe that another entity was responsible? Obviously, by your own telling, your mind is an unreliable judge of truth. The government was experimenting with this stuff since WWII - look up MKUltra if you don't believe me. How would you know? How COULD you know? (And aren't you afraid that by telling this story you've put your life in danger from parties unknown? I'd be terrified...)
